The APK uses the same official signing identity as previous betas. Install it
over the existing release to retain app data. Debug builds install separately.

Changes since beta.3

• Tapping a script opens its description and command. Execution starts only when
  Run is pressed, and repeated presses are blocked while it is running.
• Show output and error messages below the command, with the exit code and a
  Close action after completion. Empty output is explicitly identified.
• Remove the silent-run menu item and swipe execution shortcuts.
• Keep execution and result state across screen rotation, and handle shell
  exceptions as results instead of leaving the dialog loading.
• Run multiline commands, pipelines and shell builtins inside a bounded child
  shell. Include ACC runtime directories in its PATH so acca and acc work
  even when the module commands are not mounted into /system/bin yet.
• Identify development builds as AccA-NG Debug, with an orange launcher
  background and a DBG badge, including themed monochrome icons.

New script-dialog text is available in English and Portuguese (Portugal); other
languages use the English fallback for these additions.

Included engine and source

The bundled engine remains ACC-NG v1.0.3-ng (based on ACC v2023.10.16),
with DJS v2021.12.14. Neither bundled archive changed in this release.

Validation and beta limitations

See the validation record
for build, signing and Samsung device checks. Other Android versions, kernel
compatibility, complete charging cycles and physical thermal protection remain
outside this release's validation. This remains a prerelease.

from the locally tested beta.2 candidate.

candidate. Install it over either version to retain app data. Original AccA and
debug builds have different package IDs and install separately.

Changes since beta.1

• Translate 230 new interface strings across all 21 existing locales, with
  expanded Portuguese coverage. Older untranslated strings still fall back to
  English in some languages; AI-assisted translations may need native review.
• Apply language changes immediately through AndroidX activity recreation, save
  the selection and remove the obsolete manual-restart message.
• Correct Greek and Indonesian language codes, migrate saved choices and update
  localized widget and quick-settings labels.
• Include all languages for offline switching, including future App Bundle builds.
• Fix modern ACC-NG profile temperature commands and readback while preserving
  legacy profiles; show resume temperature in degrees Celsius.
• Add Copy details to command results and validate new translation resources in CI.

Validation and beta limitations

77 release unit tests passed, lint completed without errors, and translation
checks, APK signature and ZIP alignment passed. See the
validation record.

The final signed APK was installed over beta.2 on a Samsung SM-G975F, preserving
the active profile. Switching from Polish to Portuguese immediately updated the
settings screen without restarting the app process. The previous beta.2
candidate's profile fixes were also tested on this device. Other Android versions,
kernel compatibility, complete charging cycles and physical thermal protection
remain outside this release's validation. This remains a prerelease.

AccA-NG 2.0.0-ng-beta.1

First public beta of the independent AccA fork, with a refreshed interface,
modern Android compatibility and the ACC-NG charging engine.

Install

Download AccA-NG-2.0.0-ng-beta.1.apk below. Android 8.0+ and root are required.
Package: com.accang.app; version code: 41.

This installs separately from original AccA and debug builds. Profiles are not
migrated automatically. The ACC-NG setup screen asks before installing the engine;
it replaces an existing acc module, preserving configuration and creating backups.
Avoid using two frontends to control the same engine.

• ACC-NG v1.0.3-ng, based on ACC v2023.10.16, and DJS v2021.12.14.
• Charging profiles, diagnostics and charger-disconnected current calibration.
• Bounded root command timeouts, configuration readback and clearer setup errors.
• Current/voltage unit fixes and English/Portuguese engine notifications.
• Restored DJS source selection in the shared module installer for fresh installs.
• A dedicated release signing identity, build checks and public source provenance.

Validation

67 release unit tests passed; lint has no errors (existing warnings remain).
APK signature and alignment were verified. Installation and same-version
replacement succeeded on Samsung SM-G975F. This does not establish compatibility
with other kernels or a complete charging-cycle test of the release frontend.

Beta limitations

Physical validation currently covers a Samsung SM-G975F/kernel combination, not
all devices. Boot persistence, other kernels, a complete normal notification cycle
and physical thermal protection testing remain unverified. DJS installer selection
has regression tests; a fresh physical DJS install has not been validated for this
release. See the repository validation record for details.

Charging controls depend on the device kernel. Verify pause/resume behaviour on
your own device. The software is provided without warranty under GPL-3.0-or-later.
