Issue Description

HackMate only detects some of my hardware on my Hackintosh, while it fails to detect the rest such as; my NVMe, Realtek audio, ethernet, and my Wi-Fi card, which is an AC-8265 via OCLP root patches.

When I try to continue and try to select a macOS version, it fails to list all the available macOS versions and shows none are compatible with my system.

Latest version btw, V1.4.0.

found the bug, on mac the cpu gen detection only checks for words like "7th"/"8th" in the cpu name but apple's cpu strings never actually have that, so gen stays 0 and nothing shows as compatible. windows/linux have a fallback for this, mac never got it. also mac hw detection in general is way thinner rn (just keyword matching vs actual device ids) so missing nvme/wifi/audio is expected atm. fixing the gen thing first since that's what's fully blocking you, mac detection improvements after

pull latest / redownload the exe and you should see real compatible versions now instead of 0

Just wondering, do you have any support for Alps touchpads? Because, my laptop has one and I’m unsure if HackMate would even detect it and get the required kexts for it lol. Tested OpCore Simplify, and it was a hit or miss tbh.

They require:

• AlpsHID by Blackmac and the required Voodoo prerequisites to function said in the readme.

It covers a lot of OEM laptops like as mine, especially Dells.

I switched to Windows on a separate drive since macOS won’t be reliable for awhile. I’ll still test HackMate on macOS though.
