Question about adopting Mapperly v4 vs v5

We are planning to start integrating Mapperly within the next few weeks, likely around mid-April.

I wanted to ask for your recommendation regarding version choice. Would you suggest that we start directly with v5, assuming it should be stable by that time, or would it be safer to adopt v4 first and move to v5 later if that transition is expected to be relatively painless?

We don’t have a fixed release plan, as we work on this project when time allows. For now, I recommend using the latest 4.x version, since a stable 5.0 release is not yet available.

That said, it’s worth reviewing the upcoming breaking changes in v5 early, so you can minimize the impact on your project when upgrading.

My team is in the same situation as Jirho's team. I completely understand that you don't have a release plan yet.
However, v5.0.0-next.8 was released yesterday. Is this version close to a stable 5.0 release, or are there still a lot of issues to resolve before the stable v5 is released?
