v2.1.0 - Intelligent Research Assistant
These release notes cover the latest improvements to the Intelligent Research Assistant's core routing logic and AI output generation since v2.0.0.
1. Advanced Output Architectures
The output structure for several tools was refined so responses are publication ready and significantly better than off-the-shelf LLMs:
- Summarization Refinements: Redesigned summarization system prompts to enforce professional, highly structured layouts containing an Executive Summary and Key Highlights bullet points.
- Active Synthesis in Hybrid: Replaced basic concatenation with a new LLM call to actively synthesize search results into a cohesive, structured research report featuring a Deep Dive Analysis and Key Takeaways.
- Fact-Check Formatting: Upgraded the fact check prompt to strictly output an objective, structured report consisting of a True/False/Uncertain Verdict, Evidence Summary with Citations, and a Conclusion.
2. Core Agent Logic Solidification
- Classifier Upgrades: Improved classification system prompts to prevent LLM hallucinations by forcing single word category outputs, alongside the addition of a fallback mechanism that defaults to "search" if an invalid category happens to be returned.
- Fact-Check URLs: Fixed a critical URL extraction bug caused by indentation formatting from search results, ensuring the fact checker successfully retrieves web content before verifying claims.
3. Future Roadmap
- Roadmap Integration: Appended a comprehensive "Future Improvements & Roadmap" section to the README, detailing planned features such as Multi-Agent Debates, Deep Persistent Memory, Multimodal Extraction, and Interactive Citation Networks.
