  • 🔒 Adds short retries and busy-timeout handling for transient SQLite locks.
  • 🧹 Runs startup integrity check, WAL checkpoint cleanup, and VACUUM.

  • ✅ Keeps SQLite as the database provider and adds coverage for DB maintenance behavior.
