Apple Silicon compatibility correction.

  • Release binaries now genuinely target macOS 13.0 Ventura or newer.
  • The audio engine and signal-processing paths are unchanged from v0.5.1.
  • Local packaging and GitHub CI now reject a binary unless it is arm64 and stamped with a macOS 13.0 minimum.
  • The previous v0.5.1 download was accidentally stamped for macOS 26.0.

Binary compatibility is not the same as live-production qualification. Before show use, qualify the exact macOS version, De-Feedback build, audio-interface driver, sample rate, buffer, and lane count together. Retain an independent hardware or console mute.

Ad-hoc signed and not notarized. De-Feedback must be installed and licensed separately. Independent project; not affiliated with Alpha Labs LLC. Use at your own risk.

Browser control reliability fix.

  • Mute and Bypass now change colour and state immediately when clicked.
  • Browser controls reconcile promptly with the authoritative state from the Mac.
  • Button focus can no longer freeze lane updates.
  • Rapid repeated toggles remain synchronized.
  • QA preview can run beside an installed live instance without sharing its port or single-instance lock.

Apple Silicon macOS 13+ engineering preview. Ad-hoc signed and not notarized. De-Feedback must be installed and licensed separately. Independent project; not affiliated with Alpha Labs LLC. Use at your own risk and retain an independent hardware or console mute.

Full-control headless LAN remote

  • Optional responsive browser remote, disabled by default.
  • Full control of Core Audio device refresh/selection, sample rate, buffer, engine, master output mute, auto-start, launch at login, lanes, exclusive routing, Strength, plugin Mute, bypass, meters, CPU/latency/XRuns, and XRun reset.
  • Persistent eight-digit access code, memory-only authenticated sessions, server-side logout, failed-login rate limiting, and code rotation.
  • Network traffic and commands remain outside the Core Audio callback.
  • Phone, tablet, and desktop layouts with the same processing/bypass/mute colors as the Mac app.
  • Duplicate input/output choices are disabled in the browser and rejected again by the server.

Headless note: launch at login starts only after the macOS user session logs in. Use a reserved IP address and retain Screen Sharing or physical recovery access.

Safety note: this preview uses unencrypted HTTP. Use only on a trusted private control network or isolated VLAN. Never expose TCP 8765 to the internet or shared Wi-Fi. An authenticated client has full live-audio control, including engine start and output unmute. Keep an independent hardware or console mute.

The Apple Silicon app is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. De-Feedback must be installed and licensed separately.

Public Apple Silicon engineering preview.\n\nWhat changed:\n- Removed the fixed ten-lane application limit.\n- Lane capacity now follows every input and output reported by the selected Core Audio device.\n- Add Lane selects the next exclusive unassigned input/output pair and reports when device capacity is exhausted.\n- Saved configurations are no longer truncated at ten lanes.\n- Added an in-app About / Safety notice and packaged licence, disclaimer, and source information.\n- Released as open-source software under GNU AGPLv3.\n\nImportant:\n- This project is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Alpha Labs LLC.\n- Alpha Labs De-Feedback is not included and must be installed and licensed separately.\n- Engineering preview supplied without warranty. Use entirely at your own risk. Live feedback and routing mistakes can cause dangerous sound levels, hearing injury, or equipment damage. Begin muted, verify every route, and keep an independent hardware or console mute.\n- This build is ad-hoc signed but not Apple-notarized; macOS may require manual approval in Privacy & Security.\n- More available lanes does not guarantee real-time stability. Qualify the intended lane count, interface, buffer, and Mac before live use.\n\nSHA-256: 135c5e11fad4509fbcdd2430a3cff43a7992d69c962eeb73308477efe66961ec
