@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Oct 15:49
7d50000

Custom build of IBM's mq_prometheus v6.0.0 for Linux x86-64. It is the upstream-native
exporter plus one reviewed patch, build/patches/qdepthhi.patch, which adds the
per-queue gauge ibmmq_queue_attribute_depth_high_limit: the local queue's
QDEPTHHI setting, as a percentage of MAXDEPTH. It is not an official IBM release or
an IBM-supported product. It is not affiliated with IBM or Grafana Labs and is
provided without warranty.

The archive uses the mq-exporter-dist-custom- prefix and contains the
mq_prometheus_custom binary, the Linux installer and multi-instance updater,
notices, SBOM and build metadata. The metadata and SBOM record the upstream tag and
commit and the patch's SHA-256. IBM MQ SDK/runtime libraries are not included.
The Linux installer accepts MQ 9.3.0 and newer. Its version check is exercised
with synthetic version output; see the compatibility guide for runtime tests.
This prerelease candidate rebuilds exporter and helper executables with Go
1.27.3. These rebuilt executables have not repeated native RHEL acceptance.
There are no Windows, OpenTelemetry or RPM packages on this track; use the native
releases for those.

Custom tags (vX.Y.Z-custom-N) have their own counter, separate from native
releases (vX.Y.Z-N). The custom release is never marked as the repository's
latest release. See the
custom build guide and the
compatibility guide
for what was validated.

v6.0.0-3-rc.1 Pre-release

@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Oct 15:44
7d50000

Community distribution of IBM's unchanged mq_prometheus and mq_otel
v6.0.0, delivered as separate packages. Install only the exporter you need.
This is not an official IBM release or an IBM-supported product. It is not
affiliated with IBM or Grafana Labs and is provided without warranty.

Prometheus archives use the mq-exporter-dist- prefix; OpenTelemetry archives use
mq-otel-dist-. Each has a Linux tar.gz and Windows ZIP, with its own configuration
reader. OTel requires an explicitly configured OTLP receiver and does not expose
the Prometheus health endpoint. Neither package installs or changes a Prometheus
server or Grafana Alloy. Their configuration is supplied only as examples.

Initial targets: Linux x86-64 on RHEL 8.10 / glibc 2.28 and RHEL 9.x / glibc 2.34,
with an existing IBM MQ 9.3.0 or newer runtime; Windows Server 2019 amd64, with its MQ
runtime version independently confirmed. Platform support remains provisional.

Archives contain precompiled executables, installers, notices, SBOM and build
metadata. Linux archives also include update.sh, which updates every managed
instance on a host with per-instance snapshots and rollback. IBM MQ SDK/runtime libraries are not included. SHA256SUMS and GitHub
provenance cover these archive bytes. Review the compatibility matrix and
per-artifact metadata before use. Native RHEL and Server 2019 lifecycle checks
and live MQ 9.3.0.35 trial checks are described in the
compatibility guide.
Exact MQ 9.3.0.27 server/local-bindings acceptance remains outstanding.
The Linux installer version gate accepts 9.3.0 and newer; this release has no
additional native MQ runtime acceptance beyond the compatibility guide.
This candidate rebuilds exporter and helper executables with Go 1.27.3.
These rebuilt executables have not repeated native RHEL or Windows Server
acceptance and remain prerelease candidates.
Build metadata records build-time checks, not
subsequent native validation.

Separate signed RPMs install only the selected IBM exporter and its systemd
template. They preserve administrator configuration, require explicit service
startup and do not bundle IBM MQ libraries. A public hosted yum repository is
not yet available.

The Linux installer accepts MQ 9.3.0 and newer. Its version check is exercised
with synthetic version output; see the compatibility guide for runtime tests.
v6.0.0-custom-3 retains the accepted executables and other unchanged payloads
from v6.0.0-custom-2. Its Linux installer and versioned metadata/SBOM are revised;
the revised archive was not natively retested on RHEL.
There are no Windows, OpenTelemetry or RPM packages on this track; use the native
releases for those.

Custom tags (vX.Y.Z-custom-N) have their own counter, separate from native

v0.1.0-rc.1 (provisional platform support)

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 16 Sep 12:41
ac1e4e9

Community distribution candidate of IBM's unchanged mq_prometheus v6.0.0.
This is not an official IBM release or an IBM-supported product.

Initial targets: Linux x86-64 on RHEL 8.10 / glibc 2.28 and RHEL 9.x / glibc 2.34,
with an existing IBM MQ 9.3.0.27 runtime; Windows Server 2019 amd64, with its MQ
runtime version independently confirmed. Platform support remains provisional.

Archives contain precompiled executables, installers, notices, SBOM and build
metadata. IBM MQ SDK/runtime libraries are not included. SHA256SUMS and GitHub
provenance cover these exact candidate bytes. Review the compatibility matrix and
per-artifact metadata before use: build-host loading is not live MQ, local-bindings,
RHEL kernel or Windows Server 2019 acceptance.
