Adds a local, console-based auto-reviewer that watches for pull requests requesting your review, reviews them in a loop, and pings you on the machine. No CI/GitHub Action, no external services.

✨ New

  • review-watch console daemon (scripts/review-watch.sh) — polls GitHub for PRs that request your review, de-dupes by head SHA, and on a new/updated one plays a sound + desktop notification (scripts/notify.sh) and queues it. Run it in a spare terminal while you work.
  • review-watch skill — reviews each queued PR in a loop: cheap deterministic checks first (project linters + a growing references/known-issues.md ruleset), escalating to the full review fan-out only when those pass. Posts REQUEST_CHANGES on problems, APPROVE when clean. The loop is head-SHA driven; self-review guard for your own PRs.
  • change-brief skill — generates a self-contained, human-readable HTML explainer of a change (Problem / Root cause / Fix / Verification, before/after), written to .git-workflow/change-brief/. Produced automatically when a watched PR passes.
  • The review skill can now post REQUEST_CHANGES / APPROVE / COMMENT (was COMMENT only).

Config

Opt-in: reviewWatch.enabled: true in .git-workflow/config.yaml (plus intervalSeconds, sound, linters, knownIssues; review.postEvent).

Notes

  • Tier-1 linters need the repo checked out locally; degrades to diff-only review for repos you have not cloned.
  • REQUEST_CHANGES/APPROVE apply to others' PRs (GitHub forbids self-review) — the "someone asked me to review" case.
  • Runs on both Claude Code and Codex. 19 skills, 8 agents.
