Release list
v0.1.3
Changes
- Fix incorrect color metadata in edited MP4 exports. Source container colors are passed to the decoder, and output colors come from the encoder instead of a fixed BT.709 label.
- Add per-clip WebP resolution controls, including original size. The longest side is adjustable while preserving proportions.
- Add per-clip WebP frame-rate controls up to 60 FPS, capped at the source rate. Export estimates, progress and undo/redo use the selected settings.

v0.1.2
MP4 exports from sites using VP9/AV1 video or Opus/Vorbis audio could fail to import into Adobe Premiere Pro. Tailcut now converts incompatible tracks to H.264/AAC before downloading, in both the editor and quick save. Compatible tracks are copied without re-encoding.
Conversion runs locally in the extension. Audio timing is preserved, and exports can still be canceled while conversion is running.
Download tailcut-v0.1.2-chrome.zip, extract it, and select the extracted tailcut-v0.1.2-chrome folder in chrome://extensions → Load unpacked with Developer mode enabled. If updating an existing unpacked installation, replace its files and reload the extension.
Export affected videos again after updating. Previously downloaded files are unchanged.
