Routing

• Avoid highways & toll roads now actually works. The feature was pointed at the wrong server (which returned a web page instead of route data), so every request silently failed. Fixed — the switch now returns a real motorway- and toll-free route, verified end to end.
• Long-distance walking & cycling routes no longer error out. A transcontinental foot route (e.g. Boston → Miami, ~2,600 km / ~80,000 path points) was rejected as "too many points"; the internal limits are now generous enough for any realistic continental journey.

Places

• Rich POI details on tap. Tapping a place now shows the OpenStreetMap facts that matter: category, opening hours (open/closed now), phone, website, cuisine, operator, wheelchair access and address — no extra lookups, straight from the map data.

Voice guidance

• New voice-volume slider. Set the guidance volume independently of your media volume — turn it down when it's louder than your music, or up when a quiet podcast would otherwise drown it out. It still ducks other audio while speaking.
• Your own road reports are no longer read back to you. Submitting a report used to trigger the very hazard announcement you just created, sometimes two or three times. Fixed.

Location & units

• Faster "locate me." The map now jumps to your last known position instantly while a precise fix warms up, instead of waiting several seconds on a cold GPS start.
• Imperial unit fixes. Wind speed and the speed-limit sign now read in mph (they were still showing metric values under imperial units).

Privacy

• Screenshots re-enabled. Blocking all screenshots was overkill; the app-switcher thumbnail (which could reveal your location) stays hidden, but you can once again screenshot a route to share it.
