Plugin cannot be interacted with (Neural DSP) in Reaper

Problem description

Hi,

I have some Neural DSP plugins installed and running through yabridge in Reaper. The plugin loads fine, and works (it is an amp sim, and the sound is modified as expected). However, the GUI of the plugin does not work. It is fully unresponsive, not even applying changes but not displaying GUI interactively, just not taking any input.

I am running 6.12.25-1-cachyos-lts. With the exact same setup on PopOS 22.04 (same vst files, etc, a copy of the home directory) the GUI works fine. I am running yabridgectl 5.1.1.

I have installed DXVK-bin (for arch). This is the yabridge.toml (in .vst3/yabridge) I have:

What did you expect to happen?

Plugin GUI allows interactions, and gets input.

What actually happened?

GUI is unresponsive and no inputs get through to the plugin.
However, the default settings of the plugin work fine. It is just impossible to use the GUI to change them.

This is a known issue and I believe the accepted solution for now is to downgrade wine-staging to version 9.21. That's what I did and everything works.

Apologies ! This is listed on the known issues page, I just didn't think to look at the wine version until I forgot to fill our the line on the bug report !
