A link can ask the chat a question, which waits until the visitor sends it (#268). An address may carry the question as ?ask=, with or without ?chat=open: the panel opens with the question in a card under the notice that says nothing is sent until the visitor sends, above what the panel offers to try, or at the end of the log where the tab already holds a conversation. Send hands it to the chat as if typed, Edit puts it in the input to change first, and Discard drops it. On a desk Send takes the focus, so Enter sends; on a touch screen no keyboard rises. Nothing reaches the chat service on arrival, so a link spends no answer and asks nothing in the visitor's name, and the question leaves the address once read, as chat=open does. A question that is empty, longer than a message may be or not decodable opens the panel without a card, and every question is set as text.

The card is the terminal's accent at more weight, a 3px edge where an answer's is 1.5px and one ring as it arrives, skipped under reduced motion; it never takes --t-part, which in the panel underlines a claim its evidence carries only in part. Its German was made from the reviewed English. The design system's Chat section and the terminal family's colors say both.

What breaks. Nothing. A page changes nothing until a link to it carries ?ask=.

How to take it. Re-pin and run npm run design, which copies the new chat.js and chat.css. A link such as https://companygraph.io/?ask=show%20me%20the%20organization%20of%20CompanyGraph then works on that site.
