Release 2.2.4 is a maintenance release. It contains a handful of fixes important for KDE PowerDevil and for script writers, and changes to accommodate unusual situations.

Of note:

  • Option --edid: If the value given starts with "...", the remainder of the value is some number of hex digits (e.g, --edid 0100f3. The hex digits are compared against the final bytes of the EDID. This should make the option more useful for display selection.
  • Option --ignore-bus. Indicates that a I2C bus should be completely ignored
  • Fixed a race condition that could cause KDE PowerDevil to crash (and restart) when a monitor is disconnected and then reconnected.
