Rogue Wallet v3.0.0 — Your keys. Your horizon.

A new desktop home for Rogue Network. This release replaces Ogg Desktop’s orange interface with a spacious white, blue and teal design, while keeping the familiar create / import / unlock flow.

What’s new

  • Redesigned onboarding, overview, send, receive, staking, Deepwater Swap and bridge screens.
  • Light mode by default, with a persistent dark-mode setting.
  • Native RGN and BSC assets, custom tokens, QR receive addresses and an address book.
  • Existing staking functionality: stake, claim, start unstaking and withdraw after the contract cooldown.
  • Native RGN RPC and explorer endpoints: rpc.rogueisles.com and scan.rogueisles.com.
  • BSC representation clearly labelled RGN (Legacy OGG). Existing token and contract addresses remain unchanged.
  • Encrypted wallet backup export and restore. Existing OGG desktop encrypted wallets remain readable; their encryption is not silently weakened.
  • Transaction reviews show the network, full destination, amount, nonce and maximum gas fee. Each approval, wrap, swap and bridge step needs confirmation.
  • Pending or uncertain broadcasts are retained by their signed transaction hash. Recovery checks their status without automatically sending again.
  • FORGE / Scrypt pool information replaces old ProgPoW miner instructions.
  • Tribe Pool, proposals and governance transaction paths have been removed.
  • Electron 45, renderer sandboxing, context isolation, restricted IPC and local bundled application code.

Moving from Ogg Desktop

Back up your private key or encrypted wallet file first, and close the old application. Rogue Wallet reuses the existing Ogg Desktop profile when present and copies its encrypted wallet entries without changing their ciphertext. Otherwise, use Import an existing wallet. Keep the old app and backup until you have verified the address and balance in Rogue Wallet. RGN is the display name for the existing chain; no asset transfer is needed for the rebrand.
