3.12.3

Choose a tag to compare

@roileaf roileaf released this 18 Oct 06:27

Added

  • Prepare spells during character creation - Prepared casters (Wizard, Witch, Magus, Necromancer, Technomancer and others) get a Prepare button next to Select in the creation spell browser. Preparing a spell adds it to the spellbook and fills one of your daily slots (for example 5 cantrips and 1 1st-rank spell for a level 1 Magus). A counter shows how many slots are prepared, already-chosen spells can be prepared or unprepared from the sidebar, and the prepared spells are slotted on the actor when creation is applied

Fixed

  • Mechanic's Ingenuity skill feats - The level planner now labels the Mechanic's Ingenuity skill feat slots at levels 3, 7, and 15 and flags a feat that isn't a Computers or Crafting skill feat

3.12.2

@roileaf roileaf released this 13 Oct 13:49

Fixed

  • Ancestral paragon feats in existing plans - Plans created before a variant such as Ancestral Paragon was enabled now gain storage for the new slots when opened, so historical Workbench ancestral paragon feats are imported into their levels instead of leaving the slots empty

3.12.1

Choose a tag to compare

@roileaf roileaf released this 13 Oct 13:35

Fixed

  • Mechanic and Technomancer subclass feats - Feats requiring an exocortex (e.g. "drone or turret exocortex") or a programming language (e.g. "DPS++ programming language") now recognize the chosen subclass in character creation and the level planner instead of treating programming languages as spoken languages
  • Mechanic's Ingenuity - The level planner now adds the bonus Computers/Crafting skill increase and the bonus Computers/Crafting skill feat at levels 3, 7, and 15
  • Historical feats in existing plans - Opening the planner now fills empty past-level slots from the actor's slotted feats, so Workbench ancestral paragon feats (and other slotted feats) taken before the plan existed or before the variant was enabled are no longer missing

3.12.0

Choose a tag to compare

@roileaf roileaf released this 13 Oct 12:39

Added

  • Starfinder Tech Core classes - Mechanic and Technomancer (SF2e 1.6.0) are now supported in the creation wizard and level planner, including exocortex and programming language subclass choices
  • Technomancer spell database - Character creation offers the full 10-cantrip, five-spell database plus the programming language's 1st-rank spell, the planner adds two database spells per level, and each programming language's spell cache spells and magic hacks (including Advanced and Greater Magic Hack) are granted automatically

3.11.0

Choose a tag to compare

@roileaf roileaf released this 13 Oct 05:23

Fixed

  • Description-only innate spell grants - Applying feats such as Arcane Sense now adds their explicitly granted innate spells and creates an innate spellcasting entry when needed, including feats selected in bonus, skill, and general slots; incidental spell references and unresolved choices are not granted automatically

This fix applies when feats are newly applied. Existing characters with a missing grant are not automatically repaired; keep any manually added spell.

3.10.0

Choose a tag to compare

@roileaf roileaf released this 12 Oct 17:51

Added

  • Advanced spell filters - Filter spells by casting actions, listed defenses, targets, area shape and size, range, duration, and sustained casting in the shared sheet, character creation, and level planner spell picker (#112)
  • Duration units - Enter duration bounds in seconds, rounds, minutes, hours, or days; switching units preserves the same limits

Improved

  • Spell filter controls - Collapsible advanced filters include a clear button, aligned checkbox labels, and selection preservation while filtering

Text-based filters use listed English spell fields. Unknown values are excluded when numeric bounds are active; duration alternatives use the listed maximum. One round equals six seconds.

3.9.2

@roileaf roileaf released this 12 Oct 14:57

Fixed

  • Scholar replacement skill count - Selecting an already-trained skill such as Arcana for a Wizard now adds the missing replacement skill choice, preserving the same total trained skills as selecting an untrained background skill.

3.9.1

@roileaf roileaf released this 12 Oct 10:08

Fixed

  • Scholar can select an already-trained skill for Assurance, including Arcana for Wizards. Duplicate class training grants an additional skill choice.

3.9.0

@roileaf roileaf released this 12 Oct 03:37

Added

  • Flexible spell preparation - Character creation now offers flexible preparation for Wizards, Druids, Clerics, and Witches, with independent dual-class choices, native spell collections, reduced daily slots and cantrips, and the required level-2 Flexible Spellcaster Dedication.
  • Flexible casting progression - The level planner preserves flexible casting on existing characters while keeping spellbook learning, curriculum and divine font slots, and restricted 10th-rank spells separate.

Fixed

  • Unified Magical Theory spellbook - Wizards selecting the School of Unified Magical Theory can now choose six starting 1st-rank spells instead of five, including dual-class Wizards.

Validation: 2,008 tests passed; lint clean; rendered creation controls verified. Live Foundry validation remains outstanding.

3.8.13

@roileaf roileaf released this 11 Oct 19:33

Fixed

  • Skill increase clarity - Skill choices now say "Increase to Expert" (or the appropriate rank) instead of showing only an arrow, with labels below skill names to avoid overlap; applies to regular and custom skill increases.

Validation: 1,972 tests passed, lint clean, rendered standard/custom/dropdown labels and layout verified.
