Opta 0.1.0

Install

1. Download Opta-0.1.0.zip below and unzip it.
2. Move Opta.app to your Applications folder.
3. Launch it. Opta lives in the menu bar and has no Dock icon.

Opta then asks for Accessibility and Input Monitoring, which it needs to
see the Option key and raise the window you pick, and optionally Screen
Recording for live previews. Relaunch after granting them.

Important

This build is not notarised by Apple, so macOS quarantines it on
download and will say it cannot be verified. To run it anyway:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Opta.app

Because the signing identity is not stable across releases, macOS also
treats each update as a new app: you will need to grant Accessibility
and Input Monitoring again after upgrading. Building from source with
./scripts/build_app.sh avoids both problems.

Requires macOS 14 or newer. Universal build: Apple Silicon and Intel.
