Kingmaker 0.4.2
Kingmaker v0.4.2
The governed stack grows up: two native components join the program, and the set folded in alongside them makes the whole machine harder to misuse.
New in this release
- LittleBrother. The governed OSINT method set now ships as working code inside the program — public-source lookups (username, IP, domain, web recon, email format), every call screened and written to the hash-chained audit log. The full method set stays behind the founder tap where it belongs, and the Solomon build physically excludes it — absence, not a flag.
- Harness². A governed improvement loop for agent harnesses: propose, probe, compose — and nothing it discovers gets adopted without the founder's tap. Lessons carry across tasks; every cycle is audit-chained.
- The fold-in set. A governed scraping adapter with egress refusals enforced before any request leaves the machine; a browser-automation contract that refuses to launch anything unpinned; a Blender bridge with upstream telemetry pinned off and code execution behind the tap; a WhatsApp gate that refuses batch sends and stranger outreach; a model-slimming lane that refuses unhashed inputs and outputs. Two upstream models were evaluated and refused — the refusals ship as records, so the machine remembers why.
Verification (this release's receipts)
- Stack-wide: 22 suites, 377 checks, all green — including LittleBrother's Solomon-exclusion proof and Harness²'s adoption-refusal tests.
- Verified on the Mac build tree: LittleBrother's Solomon build exposes exactly the five public methods (the full method set is absent, not disabled), and Harness² instantiates under governance.
- The release itself: the app is codesign-verified, the manifest is signed and fingerprint-checked, and every part was re-read and hash-verified after writing.
- Signed manifest; verify against SHA256SUMS before installing, as always.
Library delivery stays your choice: stream it, or download it whole. Fleet learning stays opt-in — off unless you turn it on.

Kingmaker 0.4.1
Kingmaker 0.4.1
A leaner install, a knowledge library that fits your disk, and the folded stack — seventeen governed components, verified before they shipped.
What's new
- Your disk, your call. 4.0 baked the full knowledge library into every install, whether it fit or not. The 4.1 installer asks first: download everything up front, or stream the library later. The choice is a setting, not a commitment — switch anytime. Streamed corpora arrive in the background, signature-verified and resumable, and a complete on-disk library is always used as-is.
- Right-sized installs. Pick the model pack that matches your machine, from 8 GB to 64 GB tiers. The core system lands at about 4.5 GB before models — the library (23 corpora, ~18 GB) and the models are now your decision, not the installer's.
- The folded stack. Seventeen governed components now ship inside Kingmaker: cost-aware model routing over an audit chain, output verification, a training-data pipeline, document and content tooling, fabrication design, and a hardened, sandboxed research lane. Every component passed verification (353 checks) before it earned its place.
- Skills, front and center. 170+ built-in skills ship in the box — research, writing, code, media, business operations, and more — each one permission-gated and auditable.
- Same key, same trust. The release manifest is signed with the Kingmaker Release key, unchanged from 4.0 — fingerprint
A689 DD94 00E8 F7B2 563C 1C88 6B20 BA39 4CA6 68E4 A734 8EF7 05AC 5F48 2AB8 E182. Every part carries a SHA-256 in the signed manifest and inSHA256SUMS.
Install
- Download
Kingmaker-Installer-v0.4.1.dmgand open it. - Run the installer. It verifies the manifest signature, then asks two questions: your model pack and your library delivery (download everything, or stream later — the installer shows both sizes against your free space).
- First open on a Mac that didn't build it: right-click the installer and choose Open once. The installer is ad hoc signed and not notarized — same posture as 4.0.
- Installed Macs enroll for updates automatically.
Requirements
- Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 14 or later
- Free space: ~5 GB for the core system, plus your chosen model pack (5-39 GB) and, if you download it up front, the ~18 GB library
Included
- Kingmaker 0.4.1 (engine build 15f2c0ec) — 8 archive parts, 2.33 GB total
- Ronin Launcher 0.3.1
- Signed manifest +
SHA256SUMS
Kingmaker 0.4.0
v0.4.0 — Governance Stack + Reflex Layer
Nine new modules, measured:
- Decision router — local reflex layer routes simple decisions without cloud round-trip (<100ms on M5)
- Audit chain — every action hash-chained, tamper-evident
- Model pin registry — only pinned model hashes load; unpinned weights refused
- Governance spine —
customorkingmaker-x-hereticmode, per-session tap - Ingestion guard — all input treated as untrusted at the boundary
- Egress guard — allowlisted hosts only, Tor-only mode for darkweb
- Darkweb search — Tor-only, read-only, per-session approval, CSAM auto-abort (no override)
- Abliteration pipeline — official base weights → local uncensoring → hash-pinned
- Universal file handler — encounters unknown file types, converts locally via system tools
- Model ingestion pipeline — deterministic discovery → triage → scan → your tap → ingestion → fleet distribution; Edge0 streaming MoE runs 35B-class models in ~3GB RAM
- K-Bucks UBI — every install carries a pre-loaded grant; one verified identity, one grant, signed and audited
- Compute governor — 10th governance module: resident/stream/refused load decisions graded on the active set, not weight bytes
- Model condense — points the compute program at the model: FP8 dense / MXFP4 experts, expert residency, KV budget
- Runtime degrade — try full, fall back on resource exhaustion only; lazy residency, maximum throughput
Full changelog with benchmarks ships with the release.
Kingmaker 0.3.0
Kingmaker 0.3.0. Kingmaker Phone now picks up Tailscale the moment it's set up, with no restart, so your phone works away from home right away.
Photos from your phone reach every tool: ask what it is, have it read the text, save it, or start work from it.
Saying or typing stop approving works from everywhere. Phone pairing codes expire after ten minutes, and connected tools that can change things ask you first.
The Ronin Launcher is updated to 0.3.1.
