Summary

  • Add rootsandfruit/plugin-update-git-safe — flush Git Updater cache, nudge wp-cron, fetch update-api, install with tag/override, smoke test, Breeze purge, rollback on failure.
  • Resolves Git Updater slug vs plugin directory slug (e.g. abilities vs rootsandfruit-abilities).

Test plan

  • update-git-plugin.ps1 -TargetVersion 1.5.4 or MCP plugin-update-git-safe
  • audit-mcp-abilities.ps1 lists plugin-update-git-safe
