Riff 41

The biggest update so far: your music, your look, your controls.

Customization

  • Custom backgrounds: image, GIF or video, with opacity and blur
  • Interface and text opacity sliders, so your wallpaper actually shows
  • Custom banner media with Fit / Zoom / Stretch, plus a custom cover and banner per track
  • Mesh gradient editor: two control points, speed and blur
  • Toggle for the wavy progress bar and for the My files tab
  • Performance mode for weaker hardware (turns on automatically without GPU acceleration)
  • Redesigned Settings page with a category sidebar and connected Material 3 containers
  • Ripple effect, hover highlights and animated toggles (X / dash / check)

Lyrics

  • Spotify-style lyrics with a focused active line
  • Lyrics translation (off by default, enable it in Settings)

Fixes

  • Fixed rounded corners of the presets/playlists drawer
  • Fixed karaoke word highlight at theme intensity 0
  • Smoother button press animation on fast clicks
  • "Check for updates" and the update dialog work again (the version in Settings is now read from the app)
  • Page no longer shows through the player bar at low interface opacity
  • Lyrics: sync mode no longer jumps, clearing the editor removes the lyrics, no more wrong lyrics for non-Latin titles, cleaner header
  • Slider tick marks and dropdown dead zone
