A Relatable API error no longer fails the visitor's form submission. Visitors see the success message and are redirected; the error is logged and shown only to logged-in editors.
Existing contacts are now found and updated. The lookup previously never matched, because the API's search results do not include email addresses and do not return contacts created through the API. Each submission therefore created a contact again, which Relatable rejected (HTTP 422) or answered by detaching the email address from the existing contact.
Contacts the site creates are remembered by a hash of the email address, so later submissions update them.
When Relatable returns a newly created contact without its email address, the plugin adds the address with an update.
