• Header preservation: Keeps any existing header at the top of your Markwhen file. If a header is set in settings, that value overrides the file’s header.
• Whole‑vault sync: Leave “Notes folder path” blank to sync your entire vault. Watchers and excludes respect this scope; excludes are relative to the vault root in this mode.
• Partial dates support: Events with year/month only (e.g., 2025 or 2025‑06) are supported and no longer removed. They expand to start/ end of the period using your configured date format.
• Safer reverse sync: When syncing from Markwhen, updates are skipped if multiple notes share the same basename in whole‑vault mode, avoiding unintended edits.
• Consistent date validation: Reverse sync now validates against your configured date format (not hardcoded).
• UX/docs: Settings descriptions and README updated to reflect these changes.
