What's changed in v0.6.1

This release consolidates the work completed from Friday, September 11 through Monday, September 14, 2026.

  • Predictable window states: unpinned notes on the desktop follow normal app layering; an unpinned note summoned inside a full-screen space is temporary and hides when the user clicks outside or leaves that space; a pinned note stays above the current app and follows the user across spaces.
  • Consistent activation: the shortcut, Dock icon, and menu bar icon all bring FloatNote to the front on the screen where the user is currently working. Stale full-screen locations are no longer reused, and closing the note clears its pinned state.
  • Image blocks: import and save local images, resize them, and align them left, center, or right, with the center alignment icon displayed correctly.
  • Saved links: keep HTTP/HTTPS links as colored, editable text with open, copy, edit, and remove actions.
  • Simple tables: insert tables and add or remove rows and columns without merge/split-cell complexity.
  • Block editing gaps: images, tables, and code blocks keep fixed physical space above and below; clicking that space starts a normal text paragraph without allowing adjacent blocks to collapse together.
  • Safer table deletion: the first “Delete table” action selects the whole table; the next Delete/Backspace or delete action removes it. A paragraph immediately after a table can target the table instead of moving the cursor into its last cell.
  • Localized editing menus: the app’s custom context menu follows the selected language, including image, link, table, and block actions.
  • Context menu placement: the localized right-click menu automatically fits inside the current window, including near screen edges.
  • Local-first media storage: imported images and layout metadata are saved with the note locally, with validation for unsupported, oversized, malformed, or unsafe paths.

Install

  1. Download and open the DMG.
  2. Drag FloatNote to Applications.
  3. First launch is blocked by Gatekeeper (unsigned) - right-click → Open → Open anyway.

  • 窗口状态更清晰：桌面未图钉时遵循普通 App 的层级逻辑；在全屏界面未图钉时属于当前全屏空间的临时便签，点击外部或离开该空间后退到后台；激活图钉后始终浮在当前 App 上方，并随用户跨屏切换。
  • 拉起方式统一：快捷键、Dock 栏图标和顶部状态栏图标，都会在用户当前所在屏幕把 FloatNote 拉到前台，不再复用已经离开的全屏位置；点击关闭按钮会同时取消图钉状态。
  • 图片内容：支持导入和保存本地图片，可调整大小，并设置左、中、右位置；修复居中位置图标缺失问题。
  • 链接保存：HTTP/HTTPS 链接以彩色文字保存，并支持打开、复制、编辑和移除。
  • 简单表格：支持插入表格、添加和删除行列，不引入合并或拆分单元格的复杂操作。
  • 块内容编辑区：图片、表格、代码框前后保留固定物理空间，点击即可进入文本编辑行；删除编辑行后，块之间仍保留默认间距。
  • 表格删除保护：第一次点击“删除表格”只选中整张表格；再次点击删除，或按 Delete/Backspace，才真正删除。表格后紧邻文本行时会正确定位整张表格，不再跳入最后一个单元格。
  • 菜单语言统一：自定义右键菜单会跟随设置中的语言，图片、链接、表格和块操作不再固定显示英文。
  • 右键菜单定位：菜单会自动适应当前窗口边界，靠近屏幕边缘时不会跑到可视区域之外。
  • 本地媒体安全保存：图片和布局元数据随便签本地保存，并对不支持、超大、损坏或不安全路径的媒体进行校验。
