Added

• URL Shortener: the short URL is now readable over REST (#1012): the opted-in post types gain a read-only ffc_shortlink field. pre_get_shortlink never reached REST — WP_REST_Posts_Controller does not call wp_get_shortlink() — so external consumers had no way to read it.

Changed

• Internal (#1008) — PHPStan stays honest under WordPress stubs 7.1: the bump types register_rest_route()'s namespace as non-falsy-string, now declared as such across the 14 controllers that thread it. Four dead checks were dropped; ten sites where the stub over-promises keep their runtime guard behind a narrow @phpstan-ignore with the reason inline.
• Internal (#992, #1007) — the post-deploy smoke now blocks: it shipped non-blocking while it proved itself against the testes host, and 13 consecutive green runs closed that evidence gate. A failing smoke is now a failing deploy; a 120s timeout stays a warning, since the rsync has already landed.
• Internal (#1005) — tests/ is tab-indented, and now enforced: 250 space-indented files against 170 tab-indented ones, with nothing checking either, so a reformat alone would have drifted back. Reindented, plus a two-sniff phpcs-tests.xml.dist over the whole directory. No test logic changed.

Fixed

• Posts published from the block editor got their short URL late (#1013): the auto-create hook was registered only under is_admin(), but Gutenberg saves over REST, where that is false. The short URL appeared only once someone reopened the editor — so a freshly published post had none, exactly when a consumer reads ffc_shortlink (#1012). save_post now runs in both contexts.
