Added

  • A Date Messages rule can draw its message over a background image (#1660). The body cell takes a Media Library image, a fallback colour and a text colour, with the text on the left, the right or across the whole width; the header and footer stay the Email Model's. The editor gains a rendered message preview at computer and phone width.
  • The repository has a README with screenshots (#1662). Fourteen English screenshots, one in dark mode, are rebuilt from invented data by .github/scripts/screenshots/. The stale Screenshots section of readme.txt now matches them.
  • "Send test to me" now shows in the Date Messages history (#1664). Each test is a run with a Test badge and the name of the sender, which can be hidden. It is never written to the delivery log, so it cannot stop the real message, and it schedules no digest.
  • The documentation names its developer and links the repository, read from the plugin header, the same lines the Plugins screen shows (#1667).
  • [ffc_geofence] shows a page's content only inside a time window or a place (#1668). The content never reaches the page HTML: once the browser's date and GPS checks pass, it is fetched from an endpoint that re-reads the shortcode from the post and re-checks date/time and IP. An administrator who skips a restriction sees a small "Admin bypass" badge over the content. GPS can be spoofed, so this controls visibility and does not authorize access.

Changed

  • The geofence checks take a config, not only a form (#1668). Geofence::check_access() and build_frontend_config() run the date/time and location checks on any config, and the form methods now read the form's meta and call them, with no change for forms. This is the base for protecting page content.

Fixed

  • Dark mode no longer hides the page title on the plugin's admin screens (#1662). The text turned light but the page behind it stayed core's light grey, so titles, list counts and "N items" were light-on-light; the form editor's title field had the same problem. The canvas is now painted dark.
  • The Date Messages "Computer" preview no longer shows the phone layout (#1662). It was exactly as wide as the layout's phone breakpoint, so the text column covered the artwork.
  • The testes deploy no longer reports green when WordPress fails to boot, and checks its target before syncing. wp_die() on an unreachable database exited 0 and read as a passing smoke; any early end now fails it. A TESTES_REMOTE_PATH that does not end in /wp-content/plugins/ffcertificate stops the deploy before rsync --delete runs (#1666).
  • A geofenced form or [ffc_geofence] no longer checks the location twice after "Continue" (#1668). Allowing the browser prompt also fired the permission-change listener, which ran the check again; outside the area the block message appeared twice. The listener now re-runs the check only while its banner is still waiting; a cached-page refresh no longer stacks a second pre-flight banner, and a second block replaces the first.
