GyroGrade 1.0.2

GyroGrade 1.0.2 gives the app its new logo and adds the first Windows build. GyroGrade is based on Gyroflow: gyro stabilization with LUTs and color grading built in, so you can stabilize and grade log footage in one pass.

Mac: GyroGrade-1.0.2-mac-arm64.dmg below. It needs a Mac with Apple silicon. Open the disk image and drag GyroGrade to Applications, replacing the older version. The app is signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Windows: GyroGrade-1.0.2-windows-x64.zip below, for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. It's portable, so there's nothing to install: unzip it and open Gyroflow.exe in the GyroGrade folder (the program file still carries Gyroflow's name). This build isn't code-signed yet, so the first time you open it Windows SmartScreen may warn you. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If Windows says a file name is too long while unzipping, extract to a shorter folder such as C:\GyroGrade.

What's new in 1.0.2

• Windows. The same app, tools and color pipeline as on the Mac, with hardware video decoding and NVIDIA, AMD and Intel export encoders. We tested it on Windows 11 with an NVIDIA RTX GPU.
• New logo in the sidebar. The GyroGrade icon now sits next to the name, lettered in the same style as Gyroflow's logo so it feels familiar. It switches between light and dark versions with the app theme.

Your settings, recent LUTs and saved projects carry over unchanged. Coming from Gyroflow Plus 1.0? GyroGrade copies your settings on first launch, as described in the 1.0.1 notes.

Gyroflow Plus is now GyroGrade. It's the same app, based on Gyroflow: gyro stabilization with LUTs and color grading built in, so you can stabilize and grade log footage in one pass. The new name gives the project room to grow as more features arrive.

What's new in 1.0.1

• A new name and icon. GyroGrade has its own icon and sidebar wordmark, with a "Based on Gyroflow" credit.
• Your settings come along. On first launch, GyroGrade copies your Gyroflow Plus settings and lens profiles, so your recent LUTs, LUT folder and preferences are where you left them. The old copy is left untouched.
• New home. The website is now gyrograde.com and the source is at rsmith4321/gyrograde. Old links redirect.

If you have Gyroflow Plus 1.0 installed, you can delete it after installing GyroGrade. Projects you saved keep working.

GyroGrade checks this page for new versions when it opens. It saves its settings separately from Gyroflow, so both apps can be installed side by side.

Gyroflow Plus is now GyroGrade. Get the latest version, GyroGrade 1.0.2. It brings your settings over automatically.

Gyroflow Plus 1.0 is the first release of this community fork of Gyroflow. It keeps Gyroflow's gyro stabilization and adds LUTs and simple color controls, so you can stabilize and grade log footage in one pass.

What's new compared with Gyroflow 1.6.3

• Your LUT, in view. Choose a .cube LUT that matches your camera's recording profile and see it in the live preview and in the stabilized export.
• Quick color adjustments. Exposure, temperature, tint, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows and saturation. Compare with the original colors, and double-click any slider to reset it.
• Your looks, close at hand. Keep up to eight recent LUTs, browse a local LUT folder and remember camera and profile choices. Links to the official DJI, GoPro and Insta360 downloads help you find the right conversion. Manufacturer LUT files are not bundled.
• Pick up where you left off. The LUT and color adjustments save with your project, and the original recording and its motion data are left untouched.
• Official OpenColorIO processing, on the CPU for export and on the GPU for the preview.
• Text you can read. Text and controls are sized like other Mac apps.
