Plaud no longer exposes long-lived tokenStr in Local Storage

Hi,

I’m using Applaud with multiple Plaud accounts. Previously, Plaud Web exposed a long-lived tokenStr / workspace token in Local Storage that could be copied into Applaud.

It looks like Plaud has changed this behavior. Now I can only find:

• workspaceToken / Authorization: Bearer ... token, type WT
• expires in about 1 day
• refreshToken, type WRT
• expires in about 30 days
• no long-lived tokenStr visible in Local Storage anymore

When I paste the workspaceToken, Applaud accepts it, but it expires in 1 day.

When I paste the refreshToken, Applaud rejects it with:

Plaud returned msg=token type does not match parse mode

Thank you for the report - good news is I know how to fix this and have done so already in https://rovenotes.com .
I'll fix it here on Applaud in the next week as I'm currently out of the country.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply and for confirming you already know how to fix it.

Do you have an estimated date for when the Applaud fix will be available?
We rely on multiple Plaud accounts, so it would help us plan around the current 1-day token expiry.

This should be fixed. Please re-install. You will unfortunately need to delete ~/.config/applaud to remove the old token and setup the configuration again, but no need to delete your existing recordings. In addition, as the new tokens are in cookies instead of local storage, on Windows you will need to input them manually. Max and Linux should still be able to find them on the file system.
