LibreRing 1.3.2 — Fresh readings, clearer feedback

Your ring. Your data. Kept close.

This release makes everyday use more predictable: pull to refresh the readings
already on your phone, use Sync to fetch history from your ring, and get
restrained tactile feedback when an action or save succeeds.

What's new

  • Pull to refresh saved readings on Today, Vitals, Trends, Activity, Sleep,
    Heart, Oxygen, firmware signal details and the day timeline—even on short or
    empty pages. The gesture does not start Bluetooth sync.
  • Newly saved readings appear immediately. Fixed a cached-clock issue that
    could hide recent samples until the next one-minute tick. A successful sync
    updates the view automatically, including a previously visited Vitals tab.
  • More dependable chart inspection. Historical dates stay selected, changed
    data clears stale inspected samples, and Trends keeps the same calendar day
    selected across midnight.
  • Purposeful haptics for navigation, selection, chart boundaries, refresh,
    sync and save/delete results. Disabled controls and background updates stay
    quiet; chart feedback is deduplicated and throttled.
  • Clearer live-pulse help. The Heart page explains saved versus live readings.
    Live pulse and oxygen remain disabled until usable readings and reliable
    stop/cancel behavior are demonstrated on the physical ring.

The current experience also includes the refinements from 1.3.1: visible sync
stages and waiting states, plain-language HRV/stress/energy explanations,
context-based daily guidance, explicit last-reported battery information, and
a consistent green sleep palette with horizontal or hold-and-slide inspection.

Actual Flutter UI rendered with deterministic fictional data, not personal
readings. Sync imagery uses a simulated progress state. The
full gallery and short tour
show the current app; the tour is a screenshot sequence, not a hardware demo.

Verification

  • 427 mobile tests, 33 R12 protocol tests, and 4 design-system tests
    passed locally; corresponding analyzers reported no issues.
  • iOS release 1.3.2 (13) built, signature verified, installed in place on the
    paired iPhone, and launched independently of Flutter tooling. Existing app
    data was not deleted.
  • Implementation QA
    and delivery evidence
    distinguish automated checks from remaining physical-device checks.
  • The GitHub Actions run
    records remote CI separately.

Scope and installation

This is a development-preview source release, not an App Store, TestFlight or
Play Store distribution.
GitHub's source archives contain the project;
attached media is a showcase, not an installer. Personal signing credentials,
the development-signed iOS app, and health exports are not distributed.

Build from source using the
quick start.
iPhone Home Screen launch requires a profile or release build and your own
valid signing setup. Demo mode uses fictional data and requires no ring.

Production connectivity is scoped to the documented COLMI R12 firmware path.
Firmware HRV/stress fields remain unverified indexes; the ring energy field is
not presented as confirmed active calories. No clinical accuracy, recovery
score, live measurement, GPS or compatibility with other ring brands is claimed.
Physical refresh/haptic feel and further real-ring sync acceptance remain to be
checked. LibreRing is not a medical device.
