Vibra 0.3.41

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 22 Oct 14:29
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Add a Transparency switch in Settings → Appearance. Turn it off to replace the translucent window, menus, and popovers with solid backgrounds; it applies immediately and Vibra remembers it.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 22 Oct 02:41
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Read agent status straight from the agent: Vibra answers the Program Status Protocol (OSC 7501), so Claude Code, Codex, Grok, and pi report when they work, wait for a permission or an answer, or finish, with no hooks installed. Pressing Esc or hitting an API error no longer leaves a Claude pane stuck on Working.
  • Recognize agents launched through a wrapper such as caffeinate -i claude, npx @openai/codex, or op run -- claude, and agents that name themselves in their status reports.
  • Sharpen status for agents that do not report it: OSC 9;4 progress counts as work, the title glyphs of Claude Code and Gemini CLI set Working, Idle, or Waiting, and the desktop notifications they request (OSC 9 and OSC 777) reach you when their pane is out of sight.
  • Complete the Claude hooks with API errors, failed tools, manual /compact, questions, and plan approvals, writing only the events the installed Claude release accepts. A compaction no longer shows the agent as Idle mid-turn, and agents no longer wait for Vibra to draw before continuing after a hook.

Vibra 0.3.39

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 21 Oct 23:08
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Add Repository as the first tab in Review: a Git client for one project with local changes and Stash changes, branches with their tracking, pull request and the commits the base lacks (Switch, Pull, Push, Create pull request, Delete), remote branches, worktrees, stashes (Apply, Pop, Drop), tags, and the project's open pull requests. Fetch and Refresh sit in the bar, and destructive actions ask first.
  • Group GitHub pull requests into Needs your review, Created by you, Assigned to you, and the rest, each collapsible. Every pull request shows its line counts, CI, review decision, conflicts, and where it lives locally (Checked out, Local, or Worktree).
  • Open pull requests on their merge status, with Update branch and active auto-merge in Summary. Add a Commits tab with CI per commit, and bring GitHub's Viewed checkbox, published review threads, and Since last review to Code. Line comments go to the agent or post as a GitHub review: Comment, Approve, or Request changes.
  • Check out a pull request in the project folder, or open it in a worktree under ~/.vibra/worktrees without touching the current branch. Push, pull, switch back to the base, or clean up the branch and worktree after the merge. Merge confirmations warn about failing checks, requested changes, conflicts, or a branch that fell behind.
  • Drive Review from the keyboard: J and K move through the list, 1–4 switch tabs, ] and [ jump between files, V marks a file viewed, and ? lists every shortcut.
  • Hover a provider's rings in the sidebar footer for a card with its quotas, bars, and reset times. It animates in, glides between providers, and stays open while the pointer is over the footer; clicking still opens the full usage modal.
  • Keep every theme legible: built-in, product, and user themes lift text, status, Git, and diff colors to a minimum contrast by changing only their lightness, and authentic ANSI colors stay untouched. Moss gets a jade accent and Bloom a coral danger color.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 20 Oct 17:56
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Move subscription usage into the sidebar footer: one line of providers, each a pair of concentric rings (session outside, week inside). Hover for the quota windows and reset times; click for a modal with every subscription and the manual refresh. The status bar no longer shows usage.
  • Open context menus on projects, agent cards, and the empty sidebar list beside the sidebar, level with the clicked row. The usage modal rises from the footer chip that was clicked and no longer dims the window.
  • Remove the back and forward arrows from the titlebar. ⌃⌘← and ⌃⌘→ and the Back and Forward menu items still work.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 13 Oct 21:22
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Add Scratch, a terminal outside every project. Open it from the sidebar under Review or with ⌥⌘T, and press ⌥⌘T again to return. It has the usual tabs, panes, and shortcuts; new tabs start in the current tab's folder, and Explorer, Changes, and the branch follow the selected terminal.
  • Recognize agents that run as interpreter scripts, such as Gemini CLI under Node.
  • Steadier agent status: prompts and spinners count only in the agent's footer, Idle and Waiting wait a moment before showing, and an agent keeps its identity when other agents' names scroll past.
  • Agents show as Working again after a tool finishes, including answered permission prompts. Hooks installed by an older Vibra are updated at launch.
  • Explorer ignores ~/Library and hidden folders when watching the home folder.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 13 Oct 20:28
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Show agents in the sidebar as cards with the agent and its status (Working, Waiting, Permission, Idle), the task title, and the branch the project has checked out.
  • Reorder the status bar: agents and Review sit on the left; the branch, subscription usage, and Keep Awake sit on the right.
  • Even out status bar icon sizes: redraw the Keep Awake cup, shrink provider marks, and drop the sparkles placeholder while usage loads.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 12 Oct 00:15
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Add Keep Awake to the status bar: a coffee toggle that prevents display and idle system sleep, on battery or plugged in. It turns off when clicked again or when Vibra quits, and starts off every session. While on, it shows as a lit "Awake" pill.
  • Remove unread counters and dots from Review and Activity; events stay in the history and still open their terminal.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 03 Oct 21:11
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Rename Inbox to Review across navigation, the status bar, settings, and the command palette.
  • Remove Notes and Automations. Vibra no longer reads or writes library.json; an existing file is left untouched on disk.
  • Nest agent sessions under their project in the sidebar with an indent and a guide line, so agents running in several projects are easier to tell apart.
  • Keep a terminal's failure state visible and clean up sessions whose shell failed to start.
  • Preserve the login shell environment when running POSIX commands, including gh and commit message generation launched from Finder.
  • Bound Git queries and agent tracking I/O, and match agent process names on word boundaries so names like mongoose no longer register as Goose.
  • Stabilize theme resolution and previews in Appearance settings.

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 28 Sep 22:55
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Switch projects with numbered keyboard shortcuts (⌥1–⌥9, last project on ⌥9).
  • Stop macOS from repeatedly asking to authorize Vibra for the "Claude Code-credentials" Keychain item. Subscription quotas now read the Claude CLI session through the system security tool, which the CLI already trusts.

Vibra 0.3.32

@rubenrca rubenrca released this 28 Sep 00:57
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
  • Move Settings into a dedicated workspace page with General, Appearance, Agents, Privacy, and Inbox sections, back/forward navigation, theme previews, and automatic saving.
  • Refine the command palette and quick-open styling while preserving keyboard routing over Settings.
  • Show detected agent sessions beneath each project without indentation, with live status, task names, and direct navigation to their terminals. Keep idle agents visible between turns and account for session rows when reordering projects.
  • Add a close button to the error banner. Dismiss current messages while preserving save protections and allowing new errors to appear.
