v0.1.0 — first release

First release of the Linux / KDE Plasma port of PokeTokenBar by chattymin — all credit for the idea, design, and game balance is theirs.

What's in it

• Panel widget — 5-hour and weekly limit percentages, colour-coded, beside your animated companion
• Popup — Home, Shop, Bag, Collection
• Usage tracking — Claude Code and Codex, from local logs: today, week, month, with cost
• Official limits — utilization, reset countdowns, and a burn-rate forecast
• Companion — egg → hatch → evolve → graduate, 25 natures, shiny, Ditto disguise
• Economy — Rare Candy, Mint, Shiny Charm, three egg grades, candy on a filled limit window
• Collection — species-level Pokédex with filters and paging, plus a per-catch log
• Floating desktop pet, notifications, save export/import, provider status
• Four languages — English, 한국어, 日本語, Español

Install

Arch / CachyOS:

git clone https://github.com/rubensanchezrivero/poketokenbar-plasma.git
cd poketokenbar-plasma/packaging && makepkg -si
systemctl --user enable --now poketokend

Other distros: clone and run ./install.sh.

Widgets only: download the .plasmoid files below and
kpackagetool6 -t Plasma/Applet -i <file>. The daemon still has to be running.

Known limits

• Only 2 of upstream's 10 providers are ported (Claude Code, Codex). The rest have no data available to verify against.
• Token totals merge across multiple Claude accounts on one machine; limits belong to whichever is logged in. The popup names that account.
• This port was vibe-coded — see the README for what is verified and what isn't.
