• Vol, Mon and Alp are icons in a box of their own, opened by a new
  Ico button. Point at Ico, land on it with the arrows, or click it, and
  the same box the tab and folder lists use opens beside it - but instead of
  lines of text it holds the three reading buttons as icons, at the taskbox's
  own icon size and spacing, across and then down. Their colour is still the
  reading, and each keeps its three gestures: the wheel over an icon turns
  it, click mutes (Vol) or opens this screen's scaling (Mon), and the
  right button picks the output device (Vol) or the screen arrangement
  (Mon). Three reading buttons on the row were three cells of the grid spent
  on things turned now and then; one button that opens all three costs one.
• From the keyboard: Down steps into the box, Left / Right move between
  the icons, and PageUp / PageDown or E / Q turn the one selected. The
  selected icon is ringed rather than filled, so its colour - the thing being
  turned - stays in sight. Space / Enter is its click, the menu key its
  right click.
• Opacity left the Set list for the Ico box, beside the other two
  readings. Set keeps the pin, the switches and the settings doors.
• The row is eleven buttons: Vol and Mon gave up their cells to Ico.
  PageUp / PageDown and Q / E do nothing on the row any more - no
  button there holds a reading.

Fixed

• A button's tooltip no longer sits over the box it opened. Resting on
  Ico (or Dir, Set, a task icon) popped that button's tooltip half a
  second later, right under the pointer - which is where the box had just
  opened. A tooltip is a window, so it took whatever it covered: measured on a
  Windows 11 machine, a wheel notch given within about a third of a second of
  moving from Ico onto Mon went to the tooltip and was lost every time
  (5 of 5). The row's tooltips now stay off while a box is open; the box is
  the button's explanation, and its own tips say what each entry does.
