v0.1.183
The Korean keys on a physical keyboard work without setting anything up, and registering your own shortcut now takes the whole combination.
- 한/영 is bound from the start — to
Shift+Spaceand to a keyboard's own 한/영 key (and to theLANGUAGE_SWITCHcode some makers send instead). - 한자 is bound from the start — to a keyboard's own 한자 key.
- Unicode entry is bound from the start — to
Ctrl+Shift+U, the combination Linux input methods have long used: it opens theU+entry, hex digits build the character, Enter puts it in. - These are defaults, not fixtures: settings lists them like any other binding, and Remove takes one off for good.
- Registering a shortcut takes the whole chord.
Shift+Spaceused to be stored as a lone left Shift — the Add button had focus and a button presses itself with Space, and a key that was already bound never reached the screen asking for it. The capture now happens before any view sees the key, and the keyboard stands aside while the screen is waiting.
