Copilot Pace 1.1.1

Stable GitHub release carrying forward the interface reviewed in the 1.1.0 pilot. The 1.1.0 prerelease tag and assets remain unchanged.

Validation

  • The maintainer reviewed and approved the visual presentation in the 1.1.0 pilot before requesting this stable release.
  • The tagged release workflow passed on commit ae4de23a0b8f032ec438f85cda75cb6e77bd447a: both Node versions, both VS Code integration versions, production package inspection, and dependency audit. Workflow run.
  • The exact attached VSIX was downloaded, its identity and production contents inspected, and it was installed in an isolated Windows 11 / VS Code 1.141.0 profile. All 7 installed-package tests passed without rebuilding.
  • VSIX SHA-256: 0d88f21d977824eddd9cd656cf26d5be6b44e192bf57e3686e07bf23cadb60c6.

No new real-account flow, quota comparison, reconnection or corporate-network checks are claimed for the changed UI.

Copilot Pace 1.1.0

GitHub pilot with preview: true. Real-account acceptance of these UI changes and corporate-network validation remain pending.

  • Add Spanish (Spain) with English as the default and a saved application-level language preference. Switch only from the detail panel using Spanish or Inglés; localize status, hover, panel, accessible labels, dates, numbers and connection guidance without refreshing usage.
  • Simplify the hover to pace status, remaining credits, daily allowance, projected usage and last update, keeping account actions and recovery messages. Reuse the daily allowance from the panel with the selected Every day or Mon–Fri calendar.
  • Align the Comfortable check with its label in the native hover.
  • Apply the green, yellow and red pace colors to the hover status and the detail panel using VS Code theme colors; clear pace colors for unavailable or stale data.
  • Keep the panel logo visible in the light high-contrast theme.
  • Omit today's usage because the quota connection supplies no daily breakdown, including for connected accounts; do not substitute the monthly average or label credits as tokens.
  • Label the hover's selected calendar as Mon–Sun or Mon–Fr in English and De lunes a domingo or De lunes a viernes in Spanish.

Final artifact validation

  • PR #22 was squash-merged into develop. The merged commit and annotated v1.1.0 tag identify cc4349a4395eaf3cced64dc83a2ff68a1c3221f6.
  • The tag workflow passed lint/types, 149 unit/service tests, 8 release-script regressions, the Node 24.21.0 / 26.11.1 matrix, integration on VS Code 1.120.0 / 1.141.0, the installed-production-VSIX suite and the dependency audit.
  • All three release attachments match the tested Actions artifact byte for byte. The downloaded VSIX was installed and tested again on Windows 11 / VS Code 1.141.0 without rebuilding: all 7 package tests passed.
  • Package identity, version 1.1.0, preview: true, MIT license, required images, production contents and demo exclusion were verified. All 5 README image URLs resolve at the tagged commit.
  • Earlier development-host review covered English/Spanish switching and persistence, all three pace states in light, dark and both high-contrast themes, hover check alignment and the light high-contrast logo fix.

Pilot limits

Real-account acceptance of the changed UI, corporate-network validation and manual visual acceptance of the final installed artifact remain pending. The additional final-window inspection could not be completed with desktop automation; the downloaded artifact's automated installation and webview tests passed. This pilot does not establish support for GitHub Enterprise Server, GHE.com or browser-based VS Code.

Copilot Pace 1.0.1

Changes

  • Categorize Copilot Pace as Visualization and AI in the Marketplace.
  • Remove the obsolete Replace an earlier pilot section from the main README. Migration history remains in the release documentation.

Stable metadata and documentation update with preview: false. Runtime source and dependencies are unchanged from 1.0.0; no intermediate prerelease was needed.

Validation

  • Main CI and the tag workflow passed both Node versions (24.21.0 and 26.11.1) and both VS Code versions (1.120.0 and 1.141.0).
  • Lint/types, 133 unit/service tests, 8 release-script tests, 16 integration tests per VS Code version, 6 installed-package tests, production package inspection and dependency audit passed.
  • The exact downloaded tag artifact passed all 6 package tests again on Windows 11 / VS Code 1.141.0 without rebuilding.
  • An isolated update from the original published 1.0.0 VSIX retained the calendar and refresh settings. The packaged categories and shortened README were verified, and all five README images resolved at the release commit.
  • Prior maintainer acceptance of the unchanged runtime remains applicable. These automated artifact checks are not a new real-account or corporate-network acceptance run.

Copilot Pace 1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 17:36
9248a36

Copilot Pace 1.0.0

  • First stable release, retaining the GitHub Copilot credit tracking and pace estimates from the 0.2.3 pilot.
  • Set preview: false and keep the rubenblancomanzano.copilot-pace identity for updates from 0.2.3.
  • Replace pilot VSIX installation instructions with Marketplace installation steps and update compatibility information.
  • Record the maintainer's successful real-account checks: GitHub connection, credits and renewal compared with GitHub, manual refresh, details, Every day / Mon–Fri, light/dark themes and data after restarting VS Code. The publisher profile name was also confirmed as Ruben Blanco Manzano.

Real-account acceptance was reported for 0.2.3 on October 15, 2026. No runtime code changed for 1.0.0. Other accounts and corporate networks are not covered by that confirmation. Marketplace publication is a separate manual step after the final GitHub release artifact is validated.

Commit: 9248a36

The attached VSIX was downloaded, verified and tested without rebuilding before publication.

Validation and artifact

  • Annotated tag: v1.0.0, on main after the merge-commit promotion in PR #15. Preparation was integrated through PR #14.
  • Release commit: 9248a36bf329f11e12a18cfe1d9786c639accf85.
  • Main CI and tag workflow passed both Node versions (24.21.0 / 26.11.1), both VS Code integration versions (1.120.0 / 1.141.0), package tests, content inspection and dependency audit.
  • Local preparation on Windows 11 / standalone Node 26.11.1 / npm 11.20.0 passed lint, types, 133 unit/service tests, 8 release-script tests, 16 integration tests per VS Code version and 6 installed-package tests. npm audit reported 0 vulnerabilities.
  • On October 15, 2026, the unchanged downloaded tagged VSIX passed all 6 installed-package tests on Windows 11 / VS Code 1.141.0 in an isolated profile. It excludes development demos and ignores legacy mock settings.
  • An isolated update from the published 0.2.3 VSIX to this file retained copilotPace.dayMode and copilotPace.pollIntervalMinutes, with only rubenblancomanzano.copilot-pace@1.0.0 active.
  • All five packaged README images resolved at the tagged commit. The overview uses Marketplace installation instructions.
  • The draft's VSIX, checksum and build record matched the tested Actions artifact byte for byte. No assets were rebuilt or replaced for publication.

Tested file: copilot-pace-1.0.0.vsix.

SHA-256: 6bc0c7f1d76a69ab58c9e07935f811b4ba58733359e1cb14e401e9c4239bfb4d.

The maintainer's real-account acceptance applies to the 0.2.3 runtime, which is unchanged apart from the build-time version in 1.0.0. The exact editor version, multiple-account switching, cancelled login, failure recovery and corporate proxy/certificate checks were not separately recorded. The final 1.0.0 artifact received automated installed-package validation; no new real-account acceptance is claimed for it.

Marketplace upload and installation verification remain manual. Upload exactly the attached tested VSIX under rubenblancomanzano (Ruben Blanco Manzano), then verify the listing and store installation before synchronizing main back into develop with a merge commit.

Copilot Pace 0.2.3 (Pilot)

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 15:17
bca8e81

Pilot update using the final publisher identity intended for 1.0.0. Real account and corporate network validation remain pending. This release does not publish to Marketplace.

  • Set the publisher to rubenblancomanzano and the extension ID to rubenblancomanzano.copilot-pace.
  • Record Ruben Blanco Manzano as author and add the extension-specific issue tracker. The GitHub repository remains rublaman/copilot-pace.
  • Align installed-extension tests and release provenance checks with the new publisher.
  • Document replacing earlier pilots, the personal publisher profile shared by future extensions, and the remaining acceptance and promotion steps for 1.0.0.

Install or replace an earlier pilot

Versions through 0.2.2 used rublaman.copilot-pace. VS Code treats this publisher change as a separate extension, not an automatic update. Uninstall the earlier pilot before installing this one so both identities are not active together. Existing copilotPace.* user settings are retained.

Download copilot-pace-0.2.3.vsix and choose Extensions → … → Install from VSIX…, or run:

# Only if an earlier pilot is installed:
code --uninstall-extension rublaman.copilot-pace
code --install-extension .\copilot-pace-0.2.3.vsix

Reload VS Code and run Copilot Pace: Connect GitHub. Reading usage requires the intended Copilot account through VS Code's GitHub authentication. Future versions, including 1.0.0, will keep the new publisher identity.

Validation and limits

Branch CI and tagged release validation passed on the same commit, covering Node 24.21.0 / 26.11.1, VS Code 1.120.0 / 1.141.0, dependency audit, installed production-package tests and VSIX inspection.

Local preflight passed 133 unit tests, 8 release-script tests, 16 integration tests on VS Code 1.141.0 and all 6 installed-package tests; npm audit reported no vulnerabilities. The local VS Code 1.120.0 runner could not start because an active Windows VS Code installer held its update mutex; a retry reproduced that environment block. CI passed that version without changing its checks.

The attached draft VSIX was downloaded and tested unchanged on Windows 11 / VS Code 1.141.0: all 6 package tests passed. In the same isolated profile, the original published 0.2.2 VSIX was installed, its old identity uninstalled, and this file installed; the new identity was verified and user settings were retained. Production ignored obsolete demo settings. The VSIX manifest, contents, demo exclusion and checksum were checked; publication uses this exact file without rebuilding.

These checks are synthetic and do not establish real sign-in, authenticated reconnection, account switching, quota accuracy or corporate proxy/certificate compatibility. The internal GitHub endpoint may change; GHE.com, GitHub Enterprise Server and web hosts remain unsupported. Complete the documented real-account acceptance and validate the final stable candidate before publishing 1.0.0 to Marketplace.

Pilot update for desktop VS Code. Real account and corporate network validation is pending.

  • Identify the selected GitHub account in the hover and detail panel.
  • Show the appropriate Connect GitHub, Switch GitHub account… or Reconnect GitHub action. Selecting an account in Copilot Pace does not change the account used by Copilot itself.
  • Add an illustrated README with the brand banner, usage examples in dark and light themes, and the production Command Palette.
  • Prepare English Marketplace listing copy and improve the extension summary.

Install

Download copilot-pace-0.2.2.vsix below. In VS Code, choose Extensions → … → Install from VSIX…, or run:

code --install-extension .\copilot-pace-0.2.2.vsix

Reload an open editor after upgrading. Downloading and installing needs no GitHub login. Reading usage requires the intended Copilot account through VS Code's GitHub authentication.

Validation and limits

Release validation passed on the tagged commit, covering Node 24.21.0 / 26.11.1, VS Code 1.120.0 / 1.141.0, dependency audit and the installed production VSIX. Branch CI also passed on the same commit.

The attached VSIX was downloaded unchanged from the release draft and tested in an isolated Windows 11 profile on October 15, 2026: all 6 automated package tests passed on VS Code 1.141.0. Its manifest, package contents, demo exclusion and SHA-256 were verified. Publication retains that same tested file without rebuilding.

These are synthetic tests. Real sign-in, account switching with real accounts, account quotas and corporate network compatibility remain unverified. The extension uses an internal GitHub endpoint; GHE.com, GitHub Enterprise Server and web hosts are unsupported. Marketplace publication is pending.

This GitHub pilot retains the rublaman.copilot-pace extension identity. Migration to the confirmed CopilotPace Marketplace publisher is a separate pending change.
