native_os_build reads the device's OS build from the User-Agent, like "23F79" on iOS or "UQ1A.240205.004" on Android. nil on the web and in apps built before this release. Both platforms, both modes.
Fixed
Share buttons no longer crash the app when appearance colors use { light:, dark: } pairs. Tapping any share control killed the app instantly if tint_color or background_color had light and dark values. iOS only, both modes.
Requests the app sends itself, like the push notification token POST, now carry the Ruby Native User-Agent. They arrived as okhttp/4.12.0 or a CFNetwork default before, so native_app? and the version helpers treated them as web traffic. Both platforms, both modes.
appearance.theme is now applied on Android. Forcing light or dark had no effect; the app kept following the phone. Both modes.
Advanced Mode on Android no longer flashes a dark background while pages load in dark mode. Screens now load against your background_color.
Pushing a screen in Advanced Mode on Android no longer flashes Material purple. The moment before a page renders now shows your background_color, with the spinner in your tint_color.
Page content now matches a forced appearance.theme in Normal Mode on Android. Under theme: light on a phone in dark mode, the bars went light but pages with dark-mode CSS still rendered dark.
