Ruifeng Tan is an incoming Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he will work with Prof. Tianlong Zhang.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy and Environment from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), under the supervision of Prof. Tong-Yi Zhang, Prof. Jiaqiang Huang, and Prof. Jia Li. Previously, he obtained his B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology from Wuhan University in 2022.
- 🔭 His research focuses on materials informatics, particularly battery degradation prediction, including battery life prediction, degradation trajectory forecasting, and state-of-health estimation, as well as AI-driven materials optimization.
