@rukpat rukpat released this 03 Sep 13:47

Windows utility for finding and removing password protection from PDF files in bulk, with a password manager that learns and auto-tries your passwords.

What's new since v2.0.2

  • New installer (DecryptPDFs-Setup-2.0.3.exe) - per-user install, no admin rights needed, sets up the right-click and "Send to" Explorer integration automatically instead of hand-editing paths
  • New "Open PDF Files..." button, for launching from the Start Menu (or anywhere) without needing to right-click a file first
  • Removed an unused legacy dependency that was bloating the build
  • Added an MIT license

Download

  • DecryptPDFs-Setup-2.0.3.exe - installer (recommended). See the README for details on what it does before running it.
  • DecryptPDFs-v2.0.3-win-x64.zip - manual/portable option, framework-dependent build. Requires the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.

See the README for full usage and security details.
