Installation & Usage
The program runs in a terminal and requires minimal setup.
Download the .zip file corresponding to your operating system. Unzip to your desired location, and open the program in your operating system's terminal or command line.
Download Notes
- macOS users on Intel processors should download the
macOS-Intel-Release.zipfile - macOS users on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, etc.) processors should download the
macOS-AppleSilicon-Release.zipfile - Windows users MUST download the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime before running the program.

This release is intended for testing and bug hunting before the official launch.
To run program:
This release comes with two binaries: KeyPer.exe for Windows and KeyPer for macOS
Option 1: Download and Run on Windows (KeyPer.exe)
Click and run to open KeyPer in a Command Prompt window.
Option 2: Download and Run on macOS (KeyPer)
Use a terminal to open KeyPer (./KeyPer)
To use:
The program will welcome you and ask you to enter a master password or quit the program.

The program provides a text menu for managing your password vault.
Select from the option below:

[ 2 ] Open Vault

[ 0 ] Lock Vault
Type 1 to create your own login (website, username, password).
Type 2 to open the vault to see all saved credentials.
Type 3 to view access logs.
Type 9 to reset the entire vault.
Type 0 to lock the vault.

To run program:
Option 1: Compile and run source code using g++ on macOS
To compile: g++ -std=c++11 \-I/opt/homebrew/opt/sqlite/include \-L/opt/homebrew/opt/sqlite/lib \KeyPer.cpp \-o KeyPer -lsqlite3
Requires G++ compiler and SQLite3 installed via Homebrew.
To run: ./KeyPer
