Flexia 3.2.0 updates the public 3.1.0 release. Tested up to WordPress 7.1.

This release and its assets were corrected on September 13, 2026; discard earlier packages incorrectly labeled 3.2.1 and use the ZIP below.

Final 3.2.0 package for team acceptance testing, then manual upload. This release packages the security and modernization work developed on dev; PR #51 remains the review path into master. Creating this GitHub release does not deploy websites or publish to WordPress.org.

Installable download

Download flexia-3.2.0.zip from the attached assets. It contains the installable flexia/ theme directory. GitHub's automatic “Source code” archives include development files and are not the reviewed installation package. SHA-256 and a file manifest are attached separately.

Changes since 3.1.0

  • Removed automatic Pro deactivation and the blanket ACF shortcode security override; added PHP entry guards and safe translated block JSON.
  • Kept Flexia independent of Core/Pro, with no tracking or legacy layout shortcodes copied into the theme.
  • Fixed posts-index/archive queries, pagination, selected-post sidebar content, malformed patterns, WooCommerce catalog routing and related-product context.
  • Replaced default demo branding/navigation/footer links with native site identity and navigation.
  • Improved focus, touch, reduced-motion, contrast and logical CSS; shared editor/frontend styles and separated commerce styling.
  • Added theme.json v3, repaired font declarations, bundled local WOFF2/fonts licenses and replaced remote icon requests.
  • Added deterministic manifest-based packaging, patched development tools and automated security, schema, WordPress and commerce checks.

Requirements and migration

WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 7.4+ compatibility; use a maintained PHP version for deployment. The tested WooCommerce target is 11.0.1, which requires WordPress 6.9+. WooCommerce is optional.

Back up first and test saved Site Editor templates/global styles: database overrides can mask theme-file changes. The posts page now shows posts; the agency layout is an optional page pattern. Inventory historical Core shortcodes before removing Core from existing sites. The theme does not automatically deactivate or delete plugins.

Test before upload

  1. Clean installation without Core/Pro; upgrade with saved templates, custom styles and any child theme.
  2. Home/posts page, pagination, category/author/date archives, search/empty results, single post/comments and both sidebar layouts.
  3. Site Editor branding/navigation and pattern insert → save → reopen; default/dark/orange variations, fonts, mobile, keyboard/Escape, reduced motion and RTL.
  4. WooCommerce shop/category/search, related products, simple/variable/grouped/external products, add-to-cart, cart and sandbox checkout with the store's shipping/tax/stock settings.
  5. Actual ACF integrations, multisite if used, and Core shortcode migration. Check browser console, PHP logs, missing assets and layout regressions.

Passing automated checks does not replace acceptance testing on existing customized sites. No production order/payment was used in the prior browser smoke checks.

Automated verification

Release-commit CI passed for PHP 7.4 / WordPress 6.6 and PHP 8.3 / current WordPress with WooCommerce 11.0.1. Checks include 585 theme assertions, commerce regressions, PHP/WPCS, dependency audit, 757 block declarations, three theme schemas and packaging tests. The attached ZIP was built from clean commit 40452ad1f9ccc88f40155c77990ea38455bc3fd1; all 129 archived files match their manifest hashes.
