Installing QT Example App

This app is intended for Python coders, and to be run from an IDE. There is no install script, yet, there may well never be. For a Python coder it should be pretty easy to get running. We assume here you have pyqt5 and an IDE installed ( Installing QT5 for Python may be useful )

Download the app, use the zip, clone, or whatever suits your fancy.

Try to run it ( most source code files run the same thing, but qt5_by_example.py or main.py are very reliable. Fix missing dependencies ( requirement.txt may help some, but only after it has been added, pip install ( better may be uv pip... )wat-inspector may be of use. )

When you have the dependencies install them. Move on.

• I run in python .12, but I think it runs in .10 and maybe even lower.
