Merge pull request #32 from animeshchaudhri/dev # Rustman v0.3.11 — Rustman Scripting This release introduces one of Rustman's biggest features yet **Rustman Scripting**. <img width="1942" height="809" alt="rustman-scripting" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b4591671-f1c9-450d-877a-ef6bab07c7d6" /> You can now write **pre-request scripts** and **response test cases** directly inside Rustman using **rustman-engine**, a lightweight scripting language built from scratch in **pure Rust**. No JavaScript, no embedded runtime, and no `pm.*` Just a small language designed specifically for API testing. The complete language reference, built-in documentation, and an LLM prompt for generating scripts are available here **https://animeshchaudhri.github.io/rustman/scripting.html** ### New Features * Rustman Scripting (pre-request & test scripts) * Global Scripts that run before every request * Built-in support for environment variables, headers, cookies, JSON, JWT, AES encryption/decryption, Base64, and console output * Dedicated **Tests** tab with pass/fail assertions and console logs * Rich response previews for Excel, PDF, HTML, and binary responses * Global default request timeout * Improved Tab navigation and selectable console output * Better cURL export, including multipart form support ### Bug Fixes * Fixed form-data requests incorrectly using multipart instead of `application/x-www-form-urlencoded` * Fixed cookie parsing from raw `Cookie` headers * Fixed number formatting (`7.0` → `7`) * Fixed Ctrl+Z affecting the wrong editor * Fixed blank editor rendering and rendering artifacts * Fixed Global Scripts editor paste issues * Fixed macOS and Linux self-update crashes * Fixed cURL export issues with form fields and Excel MIME types * Fixed crashes when previewing PDF and binary responses
