v2.0.0 — Unified Media Card

A single card that supports Plex, Kodi, Jellyfin, and Emby — replacing the 4 standalone cards.

New Features:

  • Server type selector — choose your media server from a dropdown in the visual editor
  • Inline trailer playback — trailers play directly inside the card using the YouTube IFrame API (no popup overlay)
  • Themed accents — each server type has default colours, plus selectable presets: Midnight Blue, Sunset, Forest, Dark, and more
  • Swipe navigation — swipe left/right on touch, or click-and-drag on desktop
  • Custom visual editor — dynamic config fields that change based on your server type, grouped into Server, Content, Appearance, and Trailers sections
  • All existing features — cinematic poster display, blurred background art, auto-cycling carousel, synopsis, ratings, time-ago, colour-coded dots

Migration from standalone cards:
Change your card type to custom:recently-added-media-card and add server_type: plex (or kodi/jellyfin/emby). All other config options stay the same.
