Hi,
I'm using the "Move window to next display" and "Move window to previous display" shortcuts.
When I move a window that is positioned at a specific location (for example, right 1/3 of display 1) to another display, the window is placed in the center of the target display instead of keeping its relative position.
To clarify: the window size is preserved. Only the position changes to the center when moving between displays.
Example:
- Window is at right 1/3 on Display 1
- Move to Display 2 using "Next Display"
- Window appears centered 1/3 on Display 2
- Move back to Display 1
- Window is still centered instead of returning to right 1/3
Expected behavior:
The window should keep the same relative position (e.g., right 1/3 → right 1/3) when moving between displays.
Is there a setting or planned feature to preserve window position across displays?
Thanks!
