Added

• Configurable directory prefix trimming with … and an optional display-width limit for cwd and project_dir.
  Edit multiple prefixes and the width in statusline configure, with a live preview using the current directory.

Fixed

• Refresh Git segments in the background with a shared lock and a bounded runtime, keeping cached values available
  while Git runs. Query only enabled Git fields, skip working-tree scans without a dirty indicator, and combine
  branch, dirty and requested counters into one status command when a scan is needed.
  Publish the branch before cold or slow scans, back off repeated timeouts, drain large output safely, and clear
  results for removed repositories. Keep stash counts compatible with older Git and warm screenshot fixtures before capture.
• Fetch plugin usage only for enabled segments, with authorization and cache reads also in the background. Request
  the context breakdown only when the compaction-headroom segment needs it.
  Authorization errors retain the cookie fallback and retry at most once a minute.
• Check for updates in the background in plugin mode, sharing daily results and failure backoff across chats. Show
  notices only before the first user message, including when a render finishes after that message was submitted.
