Swampman Enhancements
v0.2.0 (2026-10-04)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Remove the cast animation and totem bar alignment options
Drops src/ActionBars.lua and src/TotemBar.lua along with their options,
slash commands, panel section, luacheck globals, and docs.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 noreply@anthropic.com - Drop the saved-settings login notice
The settings resetting every load turned out to be a WoW Forever beta
client bug (account-level SavedVariables are written but never read back;
ClassicWoWCommunity/forever-bugs#34), reported to Blizzard. Rather than
carry diagnostics or a workaround for it in the addon, go back to the
plain SavedVariables setup and wait for the client fix.
This reverts commit 5e30c3f.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Report at login when no saved settings were loaded
Every fresh launch of the client has been handing the addon an empty
SavedVariables table, so all options revert to their defaults at once.
Note when that happens at ADDON_LOADED and print it at PLAYER_LOGIN, so a
lost save is visible in chat instead of only showing up as reset options.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Add a totem bar right alignment option
The shaman totem bar is a fixed-width box that Edit Mode positions as a
whole, but Blizzard lays its buttons out from the left edge, so with fewer
than four totem elements known the right side of the box is empty. With the
new option on, the summon button, first slot, and page frames are re-anchored
so the row ends at the box's right edge; the rest of the buttons follow
through their anchor chain. Blizzard's MultiCastActionBarFrame_Update is
post-hooked to reapply the layout after each refresh, and nothing is moved in
combat.
Exposed as a checkbox in the Action bars section and as
/sme totembar [left|right].

v0.1.1
Swampman Enhancements
v0.1.1 (2026-09-20)

- Rename to Swampman Enhancements and drop the slash hint from the panel
Rename the addon, TOC, SavedVariables table, and slash commands (now /sme
and /swampman) from Swampy Forever Enhancements, and update the README,
CurseForge description, and luacheck globals to match. The README's
junction target now points at the renamed repo folder.
Remove the "Slash commands: ..." footer from the settings panel; /sme with
no arguments still prints the command list in chat.

v0.1.0
Swampy Forever Enhancements
v0.1.0 (2026-09-19)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Add CurseForge project ID to the TOC
The packager reads X-Curse-Project-ID to upload releases; with the
CF_API_KEY repository secret set, a pushed tag now publishes to
CurseForge as well as GitHub.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Rename to Swampy Forever Enhancements and add client setting toggles
The addon is no longer just quest automation, so it becomes Swampy
Forever Enhancements: new TOC, saved variables, /sfe and /swampy slash
commands, packaging name, and docs. The AddOns junction is now
SwampyForeverEnhancements.
New tweaks, each with a section in the options panel and a slash
command:- In-game navigation pin: WoW Forever ships Blizzard_QuestNavigation
but its settings override drops the checkbox, so the
showInGameNavigation CVar is exposed here (CVars.lua, on by default). - Max camera distance: a slider past the 2.0 the Controls menu stops
at, with a box for an exact value; the client's real limit is probed
at login and the value reapplied (Camera.lua). - Always sharpen: a toggle for the ResampleAlwaysSharpen CVar, greyed
out if the client build lacks it. - Cast animation on action buttons: hooks PlaySpellCastAnim on every
bar button so the fill can be hidden; no game setting exists for it
(ActionBars.lua).
Also confirms a party member's escort quest (QUEST_ACCEPT_CONFIRM) as
part of auto accept, and pins section headers to the panel margin so
sections no longer nest.

- In-game navigation pin: WoW Forever ships Blizzard_QuestNavigation
- Add settings panel with auto accept and auto turn in toggles
Registers a canvas panel under Options -> AddOns -> Quest Accept with the
two option checkboxes, and adds /qa options to open it.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Add Quest Accept addon for WoW Forever
Accepts quests and turns them in automatically, leaving reward choices,
PvP-flagging quests, and anything done while holding Shift to the player.
Targets the 1.60.1 beta client (Interface 16001). Includes the lint
script, logo generator, packager config, and CI workflows used by the
other addon repos.
