Installing OneHub IDE on macOS
Because OneHub IDE is currently distributed directly by us and not through the Mac App Store, macOS may prevent it from opening the first time you launch it.
This is expected and only needs to be done once.
1. Download OneHub IDE
Download the latest OneHub IDE .dmg from the official download page.
2. Install
- Open the downloaded
.dmg. - Drag OneHub IDE into your Applications folder.
- Eject the installer when the copy is complete.
3. Launch OneHub IDE
Open your Applications folder and double-click OneHub IDE.
The first time you launch it, macOS may display a message saying the app can't be opened because Apple cannot verify it.
Click Done or Cancel.
4. Allow OneHub IDE
- Open System Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to the Security section.
- You'll see a message that OneHub IDE was blocked.
- Click Open Anyway.
- Authenticate with your Mac password or Touch ID.
- Click Open when prompted again.
That's it. From now on, OneHub IDE will launch normally.
Alternative
If you don't see the "Open Anyway" button:
- Open your Applications folder.
- Hold the Control key and click OneHub IDE.
- Select Open.
- Click Open again when prompted.
This only needs to be completed once for your Mac.
Welcome to OneHub IDE. Enjoy building.
