  • 更新检查改为读取 GitHub Release 附带的静态更新清单，避免匿名 GitHub REST API 共享 IP 配额耗尽导致检查失败。
  • 对尚未附带更新清单的历史 Release，通过最新 Release 网页跳转识别版本。
  • 修正所有 HTTP 403 都被误报为限流的问题，并明确提示访问拒绝、请求过多或更新信息损坏。

Update checking fixes

  • Update checks now read a static manifest attached to GitHub Releases, avoiding failures caused by shared IP rate limits on the unauthenticated GitHub REST API.
  • Older releases without a manifest remain supported through the latest release page redirect.
  • HTTP 403 responses are no longer always labeled as rate limiting. Access denial, excessive requests, and invalid update metadata now have distinct errors.

If update checks fail in an older version, download and install this release manually once.
