Lain v0.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@ryota-murakami ryota-murakami released this 28 Sep 14:21
ac6c018

Signed and notarized build of Lain. Same features as v0.1.0; this release fixes the first-launch Gatekeeper warning. Landing page: https://lain-web.vercel.app

What's new

  • The app and both DMGs are signed with a Developer ID certificate, notarized by Apple and stapled. macOS now opens Lain on the first launch without the "Open Anyway" step.
  • checksums.json lists the SHA-256 and size of every download, so you can verify it.
  • Existing v0.1.0 installs update to this release automatically in the background.

Install

  1. Download Lain-0.1.1-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon or Lain-0.1.1.dmg for Intel.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Lain to Applications.
  3. Sign in with your Raindrop.io account.

Requirements

macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, and a Raindrop.io account.

Lain v0.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@ryota-murakami ryota-murakami released this 22 Sep 16:38
5312f02

First public build of Lain, a macOS-native Raindrop.io desktop client for power users. Landing page: https://lain-web.vercel.app

Highlights

  • Scoped & field-specific search — search inside the current collection or everywhere, restricted to URL / title / description, with ⌘K command palette and recent searches
  • Four view modes — Grid, List, Table (sortable columns) and Directory (Unix-style tree), remembered per collection (⌘1–⌘4)
  • Keyboard-first — arrow-key navigation, Enter to open, Space for the detail panel, and a shortcut editor (⌘⇧K) with conflict detection
  • Drag & drop organization — move collections between groups, reorder them, drag bookmarks onto collections (multi-select aware) and reorder bookmarks in Manual Order
  • Fuzzy collection search — find collections by approximate name in the sidebar and every collection picker
  • Auto icons — favicons resolved automatically with a letter-avatar fallback
  • Readability — color-coded collections, collapsible groups, breadcrumbs, item counts, content-type indicators, light/dark/system theme
  • Native integration — OAuth tokens stored in the macOS keychain via Electron safeStorage, background auto-update from GitHub Releases

Install

  1. Download Lain-0.1.0-arm64.dmg (Apple silicon) or Lain-0.1.0.dmg (Intel) below and drag Lain to Applications.
  2. This build is signed with a Developer ID certificate but not yet notarized, so the first launch is blocked by Gatekeeper. On macOS 15 Sequoia: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Lain, then launch again. On macOS 12–14: right-click (Control-click) Lain.app → Open → Open once. Later launches open normally.
  3. Sign in with your Raindrop.io account when prompted.

Requirements

macOS 12 (Monterey) or later · a Raindrop.io account
