Living Docs agent connections 0.4.0

Connect Living Docs to your agent with a hosted MCP connection and optional authoring skill.

This release includes native Claude Code and Codex plugin manifests, an Agent Plugins 1.0 adapter, SDK and PWA references, client setup instructions, and a prebuilt local stdio server.

Download the skill ZIP for skill uploads, or install the repository marketplace for a supported coding client. The local server archive requires Node.js 22 or newer and a personal key from Connect agent in the workspace. No private repository access is needed.

Hosted OAuth was activated and verified on September 6, 2026. The MCP SDK passed discovery, dynamic client registration, browser sign-in with PKCE, discovery of 18 tools and retrieval of eight documentation topics, token refresh, SQL mutation/error checks, and refresh denial after revocation. Native Codex plugin installation and OAuth sign-in also passed. A fresh Claude Code agent using the local stdio release built and modified a working private document in three successful turns with 18 MCP calls and zero tool errors.

The hosted endpoint is published as io.github.s2bomb/living-docs version 0.4.0 in the MCP Registry. Curated client directories retain their separate publisher and review requirements.
