Spacewave 0.57.17 improves desktop updates, sign-in and session selection, app startup, Forge Workers, and file storage reliability.
Fixes
- Desktop updates now replace the installed Spacewave app that opened the desktop, ensuring the updated version launches correctly.
- Older Spacewave installations can fall back to compatible app components, allowing them to start and receive updates instead of becoming stuck in a restart loop.
- App views and assets now load reliably after startup, and the desktop no longer reports components as ready before they are available.
- Approved Forge Workers remain available after their Space is reopened.
- File storage no longer writes incomplete compressed data that can fail to reopen.
Improvements
- The session picker now keeps each storage location and its accounts together, uses readable account names, and shows Spaces as compact links.
- Added Spacewave storage locations now appear immediately even when they do not contain a local session.
- Narrow desktop windows retain compact mouse controls, while phones and tablets continue to use larger touch targets.
