Spacewave 0.57.20 restores browser startup for existing storage, adds controls for background plugins, and improves large-Space and file-storage reliability.
Features
- Spacewave now asks permission before allowing a plugin to keep running after its Space closes, with Suspend and Resume controls in the bottom bar.
- Successful Space plugin builds are now installed automatically.
Fixes
- Browsers holding storage from an earlier format can start Spacewave again. Existing storage is preserved beside a fresh storage volume.
- Saved multi-pane layouts no longer revert when overlapping updates finish out of order.
- File synchronization now completes more reliably during large writes and cloud storage maintenance.
Improvements
- Large Spaces now load and browse objects in bounded groups instead of loading every object at once, improving responsiveness as Spaces grow.
- File storage handles many small writes more efficiently, improving upload and synchronization performance.
- Exported Space recovery snapshots remain available while unused storage is reclaimed.
