• Forwarded mails as cards: earlier mails inside a mail (forwarded or quoted in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail or Thunderbird style) appear as their own cards, each with Reply and Forward. Reply on the original mail goes straight to its sender and quotes only that mail, without the internal forwards in between. Long chains fold the mails in between to one line; "Show without cards" shows the mail as before
• A clearer look: neutral greys instead of the warm beige, in light and dark mode
• Sent messages in the conversation view show who they went to ("You → Jonas Berger +1"); hover the count for all To and Cc recipients
• In dark mode the signature in the compose window follows the dark theme instead of sitting on a bright white card; the preview still shows it as recipients see it

Fixes

• Signatures that rely on classic layout attributes, such as table cells that must not wrap, keep their layout in the compose window and in sent mail
• A signature wider than the compose window can be scrolled sideways instead of being cut off
• PNG images keep their HDR and wide-gamut color information when their location and camera data is removed
• When several images are pasted at once and one of them cannot be placed in the text, it is attached instead and the others still arrive in order
• When editing a quoted or forwarded message, the "On … wrote" line can now be changed or deleted too, so trimming a long forwarded chain no longer credits the remaining text to the wrong person; a quote whose text is deleted completely is no longer sent

• Screenshots can be pasted straight into a mail with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V; files copied in Explorer or Finder become attachments
• Photos lose their location and camera data before they leave Prudii, and large photos are sent at a sensible size. An attached photo shows what was done and can still be sent in full resolution with "Send original"
• Images in the text, including signature logos, are sent as embedded images, so Gmail and Outlook show them
• The signature goes out exactly as designed in Settings — tables, fonts, colors and logo included. In the compose window it appears as a fixed block and is edited in Settings
• A new default font for sent mail, and a short line in your accent color sets the signature apart from the text
• Prudii points out likely typos in recipient domains, such as gmial.com, and fixes them with one click
• Choosing a template or an AI reply asks first before it replaces text you have already written

Fixes

• In the dark theme, mails written in Outlook were partly unreadable: the signature and the quoted header disappeared into the background
• In the dark theme, button labels in many mails (Google, Booking, Microsoft and others) were blue on blue
• Mails that bring their own dark design were turned dark twice and became unreadable in the dark theme
• Scheduling a mail without a recipient silently did nothing; it now gives the same hints as sending
• Text from mailto: links and AI reply suggestions is inserted as plain text, so it can no longer bring formatting or markup into the compose window

New

• Replies and forwards show the original mail in its own card below the message, with sender and date, and for forwards also recipients and subject, so the new text and the quoted mail are easy to tell apart
• The quoted or forwarded mail can be edited right inside the card: its layout, images and tables stay intact, "Restore original" brings back the unedited mail, and a removed quote can be added back
• A saved draft shows its quote as a card again when reopened

Improvements

• The open mail now stands out clearly in the light theme: the mail list sits on the app background and the selected mail rises above it as a tile
• In the dark theme, dialogs, menus and popovers cast a proper shadow again, so they lift off the dark surfaces instead of blending in

Fixes

• Privacy: tracking pixels and blocked remote images were requested for a moment while a mail was prepared for display, before they were removed. They are no longer loaded at all
• Undoing a send no longer replaces the restored text with an empty reply, a forward's attachments with the original ones, or shows the quote twice

A new look

• Softer corners throughout the app, and buttons you can feel: they lift slightly when you point at them and press in when you click
• The open mail and the selected folder now sit on a raised tile instead of a coloured band
• Text fields, dialogs, menus and the reading pane have softer edges and a subtle light rim
• Small labels and chips, such as the tracker notice, got rounded corners to match

Settings

• Every settings tab is now organised into grouped cards, so its sections are easier to tell apart
• On/off options use switches instead of checkboxes. This also applies to "All day" in events and "Show tasks" in the calendar
• Tabs and choices such as theme, density or language sit in a track with the selected option raised
• Account rows in Settings can now be opened with the keyboard

Compose

• Send and its schedule menu are now one button in your accent colour. It turns green while your mail is being sent
• If sending fails, the Send button returns to its normal state so you can try again
• The New mail button in the sidebar has the same look and feel as the other buttons

Fixes

• When you add an account, the sync progress no longer jumps back or stands still: the progress bar and the mail counter only move forward, for IMAP, Gmail and Outlook alike
• The sync steps (connecting, loading folders, preloading the latest mails) are now translated
• In compact density, mail rows are no longer taller than in normal density

Calendar

• Prudii now has a calendar. Open it from the sidebar or with Ctrl+Shift+K (⇧⌘K on macOS) and switch between month, week, work week, day and agenda views
• Drag in the week or day grid to create an event, and drag it again to move it or change its length. Events can be all-day, span several days, repeat and keep their own time zone
• When you change a repeating event, you choose whether the change applies to that occurrence, to it and the following ones, or to the whole series
• Reminders pop up before an event. If the event has a meeting link, the reminder comes with a join button
• You can turn a mail into an event, and the day's agenda can sit right next to the reading pane
• Tasks with a due date show up in the calendar next to your events
• Calendar options have their own tab under Settings → Calendar

Subscriptions and import

• Import .ics files, several at once, or a whole ZIP export, for example from Google Calendar
• Subscribe to calendar links (webcal:// or https://). Prudii refreshes them in the background at the interval you pick for each calendar. Subscribed calendars are read-only, and you can mute their reminders
• Subscription links are stored as securely as your account passwords
• Backups now include your calendars, events and subscriptions

Invitations (preview)

• Mails with a meeting invitation now show the event above the message. You can answer the invitation and add the event to your calendar, and updates or cancellations from the organizer are applied. This part is still marked "In development"

Reading

• A new chat view shows a conversation as a sequence of messages and folds away the quoted history in each reply. Turn it on under Settings → General → Conversation view

Compose

• Right-click a link in your draft to edit, open, copy or remove it. Right-click selected text to add a link, cut, copy or clear its formatting
• Ctrl+K (⌘K on macOS) opens the link dialog. With no text selected, the dialog asks for the text to show
• Link addresses are checked before they are inserted, and clicking a link in a draft now places the cursor instead of opening it
• Prudii asks before sending when your text mentions an attachment but no file is attached
• A new toolbar button clears bold, italic and other formatting, and the toolbar tooltips are now translated
• New mails start with the cursor above your signature

Other improvements

• After an update, a short window shows what's new
• The update banner has a calmer look
• Date and time fields now use Prudii's own pickers, which follow the light and dark theme
• The flag and tracker menus open upwards when there is no room below
• On the task board, dragging a task drops it into the lane under the pointer, and the new-task drawer has a Create button

Mail list

• You can now sort the mail list by date, correspondent or subject, each ascending or descending, with the new button next to search. Your choice applies to every folder and stays after a restart
• In Sent and Drafts each mail now shows its recipient instead of yourself, and sorting by correspondent sorts by recipient there
• Mail from an earlier year now shows the year in the list
• Some mail servers send a date Prudii could not read. Such mails were dated with the moment they were synced, so an old message could show up as the newest of the day. Prudii now uses the date the server received the mail and corrects affected mails once on the next sync

Search

• Searching for an email address now finds every mail from, to or copied to that address, not only mail from it, and no longer stops at 50 results

Compose

• In the light theme the writing area no longer turns beige while you type

macOS

• Prudii is now signed with a new developer certificate. After the update, macOS may ask once per stored account whether Prudii may use its keychain entry. Choose "Always Allow"

• Tauri 2.12 and updated dependencies, including the HTML sanitizers DOMPurify and ammonia and the TLS library rustls

Compose

• You can now choose the font and size your emails are sent with, under Settings → General → Email font. Until now the size was left to each recipient's mail app, so the same text arrived larger in Outlook than in Gmail

• The editor now shows your text in the font, size and line spacing it will be sent with

Mail

• A message that refers to images or attachments its sender never actually sent now says so above the text and names the files that are missing. Until now such a message simply appeared without them, which looked as though Prudii had lost them
• Placeholder lines that some mail clients leave behind when attaching fails are no longer shown in the message text, and no longer carried into replies and forwards. The message as it arrived stays available under "Source"
